Combining the current water resource evaluation research characteristic and development direction, aimed at the mine water resource itself characteristic, this article proposed the concept"mine water resource evaluation", and discussed its connotation, the research content and the research approach. On the foundation, taking Fuxin—a representative mining water shortage city in our country as the object of study, by abundant Fuxin mining area data of nature, geological and the hydrology geological obtained from scene investigation, this article carried on the appraisal to mine water quality monitor result of Fuxin mining area with the improved fuzzy comprehensive differentiation; and simulated the different pollutant pollution situation to the ground water in mine water of abandoned mine stall under the full water condition by soil column test, then discussed the pollution mechanism of mine water; Then in order to ascertain the stability of mine water quantity ,the author analyzed monitor data of mine wells over many years, and carried on the balance computation to the supply quantity and the excretion quantity; Finally the economic efficiency analysis to mine water utilization was carried on, taking 15,000 m3/d scale water station as the example to get the mine water the condition of use. Through the evaluation for water quality, water quantity, pollution to ground water and utilization condition of mine water, we found that the mine water should be utilized as resource to solve water shortage problem of the mining area, simultaneously control the ground water polluted by the mine water. The mine water resource evaluation provided a theory basis for mine water utilization more scientific and effective.
