With the improve of environmental protectional consciousness in recent years, a environment friendly modification method is requested, and the main emphasis of research has shifted to new method, and plasma and proteinase is applied to wool fabric modification. This paper modify wool fabric with Low Temperature Plasma and Microbial Transglutaminase, which replace the oxidant of traditional method with low temperature oxygen plasma, the activity of wool fibre is enabled by bombardment of particle, then with the MTG's modification, the wool fabric's felting shrinkage is resistanted without other propertie's damage.This paper modify wool fabric with Low Temperature Plasma and MTG, cevaluated the property's change of wool fabric such as breaking strength, breaking elongation, wettability and etc while felting shrinkage is considered firstly. Scan Electronic Microscope and Atomic Force Microscope is applied to characterize the change of wool fiber's squama. The experiment reveals that after plasma treatment, wool fabric obtains good results. On the condition of (O2,100W,3min,15Pa),shrinkage is reduce to 21.6% of original sample, the amplitude of breaking strength and breaking elongation is 18.1% and 1.15% separately, and wicking height is increase 19.2 times at the same time; With MTG modification, the effects is not clear because of without any pre– treatment, on the condition of (30min,35℃,2% ),fabric's shrinkage only descend to original sample's 84.1%, and other properties improve a little; With low temperature plasma and MTG combine modification, while shrinkage resistant in large extent, fabric's other properties were improved and advanced better. On the condition of(O2,100W,15Pa,3min;30min,35℃,2%),the reduced extent of sample's shrinkage is 85%, the increased extent of breaking strength and breaking elongation is 20.1% and 5.51% separately, and that, the wicking height of wool fabric is increased 22.2 times.
