phenol wastewater is one of key controlling objects, which does great harm to environment and becomes a serious problem in environmental protection. Photocatalytic oxidation of water contaminants is a new method for wastewater treatment. It is widely and deeply studied by researcher for its high photo-degradation efficiency, simple technical equipment, operating controlling easily, none secondary pollution caused and the potential of utilization of solar energy. Therefore, preparation of effective laden photocatalysts and improvement of solar energy use were two impending problems in the domain of photocatlytic oxidation presently. TiO2 photocatalysts have attracted much attention due to its promising environmental application in noxious waste disposal. However, the use of conventional powder catalysts results in disadvantages in recycle and separation, also producing pollution after the reaction. Preparation of the catalyst coated as membrane then has been a focus of attention. The nanoparticle TiO2 was prepared with Tetrabutyl titanate(TNB)which are former material in the sol-gel process. The ratio of the water volume, Acetylacetone(Acac),Ethyl alcohol, nitric acid influenced on the photocatlytic oxidation phenol wastewater were discussed in this paper. The photocatlytic oxidation phenol experiments showed that the most suitable sol-gel process conditions should control as follows: Process temperature was about 22℃;the ratio of TNB, water, Acetylacetone(Acac),Ethyl alcohol, nitric acid was 1∶4∶1∶16∶1 and the calcined temperature was about 500℃and the calcined time was about 1 hour, and TEM imagines of TiO2 show that its diameter was 15nm.Factors concentration controlling the photocatalytic of phenol, initial solution , initial oxide amounts added, reaction time, different light sources, coated times etc were studied. Results indicated that: (1) Study has been conducted on the photocatalyst of TiO2 loaded on active carbon. It is found that the activity of TiO2/active carbon is much higher than powder Ti02. And the load times had effects on the photodegradation reaction. study showed that the activity ofⅡ-TiO2/AC was high than others for 500mg/L phenol solution. And with the...
