The ecotone between oasis and desert is the bracer of oasis,it can keep the sustainable development of oasis,and also have a very important action to the development of economy. Along with the human activity, the degeneration of eco- logical system becomes one of the core issues in global environment change research; Degenerated-ecosystem Rehabilitation plays an important role in the study of arid region ecology. In this passage, we taking the typical Oasis-desert ecotone of the southeastern edge of the Tengger Desert as study area, analyze the landscape change during vegetation restoration, and try to find the relationship between vegetation restoration and the movements of environment, to do this, we can provide an foundation for further vegetation restoration and other ecological management. Depending on 1987, 1999 and 2003 TM images, combined with field survey, the spatial pattern was analyzed based on GIS and the landscape analysis program FRAGSTATS. The dynamics variation of the landscape was get on the platform of Arc/Info 8.0 and Excel; Based on landscape index compute, the results are as follows:Analyzes based on field survey: Along with the increase of the restoration ages and the succession of vegetation community, the soil organic matter content had increased observably, the total vegetation coverage and the species richness had increased at a certain extent, and become steady. The results shows that near-natural restoration of sand vegetation, which compounded enclosing with artificial assistant methods, could promote succession of vegetation community , fix shifting sandy land. Finally reach the purpose of increasing vegetation coverage and reversing desertification land. The near-natural restoration of sand vegetation is one of effective ways of vegetation restoration on desertification land. Analyzes based on landscape index: Based on the landscape classification and cartography and the analyses of landscape patterns, the temporal and spatial patterns of landscape during vegetation restoration were investigated. The results show that from 1987 to 2003 the landscapes in this area have undergone dramatic changes. The shifting ,semi- shifting and semi-fixed sandy land decreased greatly,and the area of fixed sandy land and hungriness vegetation area increased sostenuto. the landscape fragmentation increased a little, but different landscape types have different fragmental tendency; The number of shifting and semi- shifting patches increased quickly, and patch density, fragmentation of patch shape decreased, the landscape isolation index show an obvious increasing tendency; The landscape fragmentation...
