The research with XDA-200 macroporous adsorption resin to treat the industrial wastewater which contains aromatic compounds has been studied. Adsorbing simulated wastewater of aniline ,phenol and o-Phthalic acid has been studied firstly.Results indicate:the concentration of simulated wastewater is decreased with the decreasing of time;the adsoption quantity which aromatic compounds of simulated wastewater are adsorbed by resin is increased with the increasing of mass concentration of simulated wastewater,and basically is linear;aromatic compounds are easily adsorbed under lower temperature;the adsorption quantity of anliline is increased with the increasing of pH,and when pH is 8 it reachs the top .But pH is 9 it become small;however,phenol and o-Phthalic acid are more easily adsorbed under lower pH;under certain concentration and temperature's limits three kinds of substances accord with the Langmiur and Freundlich models,but under higher temperature the adsorption for phenol don't accord with Langmiur model;furthmore,n value also demonstrates the adsorption for aniline and phonel is avourable,but the adsorption for o-Phthalic acid isn't;the concentration and adsoption flow rate have effect on adsoption;the kind of regenerants and desoption flow rate have also effect on desorption.The research also has been studied to treat M wastewater which containing aromatic compounds.The result demonstrates that XDA-200 can be used to treat M wastewater,which has not been reported.When controlling the leak point of COD is 200mg/L,its optimum operation are as follows:batch volume treated is 7BV,adsorption flow rate is 3BV/h,pH is 7.0~9.0,adsoption temperature is room temperature;the regenerant is alcohol;desorption flow rate is 1.5BV/h~3.0BV/h.Under the optimum operation conditions,both COD can reach the national discharge standard,and COD desorption efficiency is above 95%.The stability tests demonstrate that the recycling property of XDA-200 resin is satisfactory.
