Supported by national advanced technology research and development projects , to choose Liaodong Bay and Dalian Bay to research the optical character of CDOM. It establishes the retrieval model of CDOM to obtain the information of CDOM concentration. The thesis is divided into the following parts: (1)There are 3 methods to estimate S about CDOM. The relativity between estimate concentration and local concentration is very strong. The linear and nonlinear methods of regress have chosen because of the absorption of CDOM is very blazing in the short bands. The result of linear regress is 0.006nm-1 in Liaodong Bay, standard deviation is 0.004 nm-1;the result the nonlinear regress is 0.012nm-1, standard deviation is 0.008 nm-1. The result of linear regress is 0.00711nm-1 in Dalian Bay, standard deviation is 0.0048nm-1;the result the nonlinear regress is 0.00869 nm-1, standard deviation is 0.004204nm-1.(2)The optical characters of CDOM have been studied in Liaodong Bay. The absorption value of CDOM at 400nm is between 0.02 and 4.86 m-1 and the regress value of S is 0.012 nm-1 .The absorption is more and more tall from bank, and then it plays down little by little in the middle of bay. In the back of bay it arrives at the highest values. The change of S has the same trends.(3)The optical characters of CDOM have been studied in Dalian Bay. The absorption value of CDOM at 400nm is between 2.84 and 19.69 m-1, and the regress value of S is 0.00869 nm-1 .There is negative relativity between S and ag(400) and the relativity coefficient achieves -0.45265. There is much high relativity between ag(400) and COD and the relativity coefficient achieves 0.66643.(4)The 23 groups of spectrum data are carried through operation. The 9 bands of MODIS are selected to simulate the absorption of CDOM. We find that the bands of 443nm and 488 nm have much high relativity between CDOM absorption. So we make a model to retrieval CDOM concentration. Through local data compares there is very best result.
