The crude oil from Nanyang oil field has high potential content ofmicrocrystalline wax, which makes it become the high quality petroleum wax rawmaterial. All of raw material being processed by Nanyang wax fine chemical plantcomes from Nanyang oil field, so there are no disadvantage such as crude oil mixingrefining or different crude oil switching refining to influence the quality and the yieldof lubricating oil and microcrystalline wax, thus can ensure the competitive ability ofmicrocrystalline wax's developing and production,and then completely takeadvantage of the resources superiority of Nanyang crude oil which contains high waxcomposition.Based on present public system of light raw material MEK toluol unit, a heavyraw material MEK toluol unit with two or three isothermal filtering stages wasdesigned to produce microcrystalline wax and path asphalt concocting componentfrom furol extracting oil simultaneously. The process flow and plane disposal ofheavy raw material MEK toluol unit and solvent recovery system have beenoptimized in this project to meet present production demand, moreover there still isspace left to be extended and developed for the future. The unit is mainly made up ofcrystalling, filtrating system, solvent recovery system, freezing system and safety gasvacuum compressing system etc. In solvent recovery system it is 1.0Mpa steam andsteam-gas have been used instead of heater to heat up the second after bottom solventthat not only investment and ground had been economized but also the unit energyconsumption had been reduced. Freezing system, vacuum system and solventrecovery system are shared with light raw material MEK toluol dewaxing anddeoiling units, so manufacture and assistant establishments are made full use of, alsothe load of the unit has been improved, and the unit energy consumption and wastagehas been reduced, at the same time the plane disposal of the units have beenoptimized and project investment was cut down. The construction of the heavy rawmaterial MEK toluol unit depended on resources superiority of paraffin base oil inHenan oil field , the microcrystalline wax products share and the competitive powerin the market might enhance. The whole operating technical level of the heavy rawmaterial Butanone-Toluene deoiler may be the advanced one among the similardomestic units and the economic benefits can be improved greatly.
