In present, it is not thorough to study the complex hydraulic fracture productionperformance and influence of correlation parameter. The description of fracture does notaccord with the fact, those problems need to study deeply. Finite difference method is themain numerical method of researching the flow in reservoirs, at the same time, finite elementis a valid numerical method and has lots of superiority than finite difference method, but it isnot deeply studied in solving reservoir problems. Basing on theory of finite element methodand the characteristic of low permeability reservoirs, the application and theory of finiteelement method in low permeability reservoir are studied systematically. Some influencefactors of finite element analysis, specially, production performance of fracture well and theinfluence of parameter to production performance, are deeply studied. The finite elementseepage equations are established, including single phase flow, oil-water two phases flow. The simulation of fracture using anchor model and the output computation using reactionalgorithm are done. Those equations are dispersed in space by iso-parameter elementmethod and in time by using backward difference. A numerical simulator is established byFortran, the ideas of high part make the of structure program clear, maintain easy, calculationeffective. The linear equations are resolved by variable band Gauss Method, which makesfull use of the symmetry and band of stiffness matrix to reduce the occupation of computermemories. Some important factors in finite element analysis, such as the quality of meshing andtime-step, are studied and analyzed deeply, which is the base of correct finite elementcomputation. After confirmation of model, the influence of fracture permeability and fracturelength to production performance is studied, moreover, the complex fracture and anomalousfracture are simulated. It is indicated that the result of simulation is reasonable. The simulatornot only may e simulate the single well, but also may study to the sub-area productionperformance. The result and the problem in the simulation process of oil-water two phaseflow simulation are analyzed and discussed, which builds the solid foundation for the furtherresearch work.
