Gate section is needed bigger in the modern fully mechanized caving and layouts in the seam floor, which is subjected to mining affect during serving time. Surrounding rock of gate generally distorts severely. So studying the kind of gate has very important signification, the paper mainly studies anchorage parameter of gate, which are raise, open-off and gate. The main content and reseach achievement are summarized as follows:Firstly , using numerical simulation studies the proper dimension of gate pillar and anchorage parameter of gate support. With working face mining, the paper studies stress and yield breakdown character of gate pillar and gate. Drawing to the result: anchorage parameter of gate, raise, open-off and the extent of proper dimension of gate pillar.Secondly, using the method of similar material simulation studies the surrounding rock distorted and breakdown character of pillar and gate. The surrounding rock breakdown character of opening gate with cable and without cable under the different depth makes a comparison.Thirdly, the paper designs support structure to the big cross section gate to adopt the strata. And study anchorage material lectotype and anchorage parameter computations of cable.
