Study On Chemical Synthesis Of Medium-Chain Triglycerides

Medium-chain triglycerides are a functional oil. They are widely used in food,medicine, chemical engineering, and so on. This dissertation is about the synthesismethods of medium-chain triglycerides. The medium-chain triglycerides weresysthesized from the seeds of camphor tree. The factors that affected the reactionswere studied. The quality of the products was analysed.From the odd factor and systematical linear test experiments, we have fixed theoptimum conditions of the alcoholysis of methanol about the oil of the camphor treeseeds. The fractionation conditions of methyl ester were studied and discussed.From the odd factor and systematical linear test experiments, we have fixed theoptimum synthesis conditions of medium-chain triglycerides, which were used by theone-step method of rising temperature. The depart-step rising temperature aboutsynthesizing medium-chain triglycerides was studied. The merits and defects of thistwo methods were compared.From the comparison experiments, we have fixed the purification conditions ofthe medium-chain triglycerides. The component and purification of the medium-chaintriglycerides were analysed by the gas chromatogram and columniationchromatography.A new-type solidbase catalysts, hydrotalcites and like-hydrotalcites, weredesigned and synthesized in this thesis. The catalytic effect of the solid base catalystson ester alcoholysis was investigated, which was compared with the usual basecatalysts. The results indicate that the solid base catalysts have strong catalytic effectand are separated easily in the reaction, and the catalytic mechanism still follow thebase catalytic theory. As a result, it provides theoretical basis and good reference forthe further synthesis of medium-chain triglycerides.
