In the driven appliance of continuous casting crystallizer oscillation system , It is difficult for a hydraulic servo system to solve the problem of the uncertainties caused by the parameter variety and disturbance. This article is about to discuss how to effectively control the system with such uncertainties by means of changing the controller.Based on the discussion of non-sin(x), this article applied all kinds of related knowledge. The theory of variable structure control (VSC)is applied to the continuous casting crystallizer oscillation system driven by hydraulic servo. Compared with traditional mold oscillation device, this system can conveniently change .oscillation wave and alter on-line oscillatory frequency and magnitude according to the continuous casting technological requirements. According to the analysis of the hydraulic dynamic machine, the system is a semi-closed loop system because the stroke feedback comes from piston rod. Aiming at the mathematical model of continuous casting mold control system driven by the hydraulic servo system, the predictive controller is designed. The test results demonstrate that the control system has not only better dynamic properties, but also strong robustness, and better self-adaptation for parameters variation and external disturbances. In addition , as for these controllers, the structure and control algorithm are simple, reliable and easy to he applied to real-time on-line control by the computers. So the two methods have significant practical value. The computer system and its software are introduced for continuous castingmold oscillation driven by hydraulic servo. The software is programmed by Visual Basic 6.0 language; it is based on Windows 2000 platform. Experiment results indicate that it completely satisfies the requirements for production.
