Water pollution is one of problems urgent to solve in the face of all the world.Water resources in china are confronted with the problems of shortage and deterioration of water quality, and the pollution becomes worse. So the treatment of organic contaminants difficult to degrade by biological methods is still the focus point for environment field.A wide.range of seperation methods have been put into use such as filtration, absorption.Contenment is generally vonverted from liqid to solid ,or from liqid to gas,and organic contaminent is not removed.Sonochemistry is a new discipline. The great progress has been achieved in the treatment of wastewater, particularly in the treatment of toxic organic wastewater and the promising future of its application is showed. In the dissertation the application of ultrasonic and the principle of ultrasonic cavitation are introduced. We prepare organic wastewater samples formaldehyde, chlorobenzene and anilin as raw materials.Application conditions and degradation mechanism are investigated by analyzing them. The contents are as follows:l.The concentration of simulated wastewater samples prepared in the lab is constant(100mg/L).They are prepared when needed.Put the simulated wastewater samples in the thermostatted water bath and investigate their degradation rates only in the function of ultrasonic.2.In the conditions of fixing the concerntrations of water samples, control the concerntrations of H2O2 and investigate the effects of the concentration on the degration rates.3.Change the original concentrations of water samples and investegate the effects on the degradation rates.4.Change pH values of water samples(pH=3,5,7,9,ll)and research the change of the degradation rates and explore the reaction mechanism.5.Consider the effects of various influencing factors such as original concentration ,pH value and the concentration of H2O2 ondegradation rates, and establish the optical processing conditions. The research in the dissertation shows that ultrasonic-oxidation method presents the advantages of high degradation speed, good effectiveness, simple operation and low cost, and the method has the function of antisepsis, sterilization. The final products of organic wastewater are H2O and CO2,thus cluster of waste and secondary pollution are avoided. The technology will, have great application prospect in the future.
