We utilize the finite element analysis method to research the mechanical properties of corrugated paperboard from a new point with computer technology. First, we establish simple model , V shape model and close to entity model of corrugated paperboard by ANSYS' S modeling technology and parameter from U. S H. B. FULLER Co. Second, Simulating experiment condition, putting constraint on boundary of model, changing entity model to finite element model and using buckled analysis to calculate the CD critical load. Third, through calculation we can gain a lot of stress nephogram and compare of results of experiment and analyze similarities and differences of results of FEA and experiment. Creating animate and report. In this thesis, we offer theory and method of nonlinear analysis. We provide mode extraction results for next research. I choose ANSYS6.1 that is a advanced coupling calculating FEA software in the world for providing a new method to analyze the mechanical properties of corrugated paperboard.
