In the dissertation, the PM10 pollution condition of Xi'an city at present is analyzed by studying the PM10 concentration value of every monitor of Xi'an city from 2001to 2002 by using the meteorological data of the same period of Xi'an city.The concentration of PM10 is close related to the meteorological condition. In the dissertation, the concentration of PM10 and meteorological condition ,and the correlation between them are analyzed .The concentration of PM10 and meteorological factors are also analyzed to obtain the meteorological factors which are good correlated with the concentration of PM10.The reason is that the grade of air4 which is of middle pollution ,and affects human healthy obviously. By counting and contrasting the polluted days,we obtained the meteorological condition which tends to appear. On the basis of what mentioned above, we chose the accurate meteorological factors as the evidence of forecast of concentration of PM10.When choosing the method of forecast, in view of the traditional stepwise regression method which cannot eliminate the total line existing among the variables to make the square unsteady, we use the REG process of SAS system to eliminate the total line to assure the factors enter into the model notably .In addition, the traditional forecast of pollution only categories the model data by the season to establish the model respectively, which aims to minimize the relative big data fluctuate of day of forecast. That model brings the error to the forecast result. In the dissertation, the data model is categorized into several sections by pollution grade to established model respectively. When forecasting, we category meteorological factors and use the relevant model toforecast It is proved that the accuracy of the model of discriminance-stepwise regression analysis in the dissertation is 78.4%.In addition ,we analyzed the meteorological condition and hydrographic condition and obtained that the method of ecological adjustment and control of enlargement of greenbelt and water surface of city can reduce the concentration of PM10.
