Studies On The Chemical Constituents From Neolitsea Confertitfolia

The plants belonging to the Lauraceae family and the Neolitsea genera are one kind of medical plants. There are forty-five sorts of the Neolitsea genera in China. The roots, steams and leaves of the Neolitsea confertifolia are often used as a folk medicines. But the research works on the chemical and effective constituents have not been reported ,we researched its chemical compositions in the thesis.First ,we extracted volatile oil from it ,examined its compositions by GC-MS and identified twenty-three compounds , isolated one compounds by column adsorption chromatography and identified its structure of a germacrane-type sesquiterpenoid lactone . Second , the 95% ethanol extracts of surplus plants were separated by silica gel, prepared TLC and so on . eight compounds had been isolated . six compounds had been identified On the basis of their physical chemical properties and spectroscopic (IR, MS, 1HNMR) analysis the structures of them, there are two steroids: Daucosterol,b-sistosterol; one fatty alcohol : 2, 3, 3-trimethyl-2 -decanol; three alkaloids: Veratramine, Pachystamine B, Peimine. They were all isolated from Neolitsea confertifolia for the first time.
