Twenty-four compounds with a new constitute have been isolated and identified from Acropora pulchra ( Brook ) collected from the North Sea , Porites Compressa Dana and Laurencia majuscule Lucas collected from Xisha Islands.Seven compounds have been isolated from hard coral Acropora pulchra. These compounds are: (l)pentadecoic acid, heptadecyl ester; (2)n-cetanol; (3)batyl alcohol; (4) N- [ 1 -(hydroxymethyl)-2-hydroxyl-(E,E)-3,7-heptad-ecadienal] -hexadecanamide; (5)1 -0-hexanoyl-glycerol ester; (6)thymine; (7)uracil. Their structures were determined by IR, MS, 'HNMR, 13CNMR analysis. Two compounds have been isolated from hard coral Porites Compressa Dana, their structures were determined by IR,MS, 'HNMR, 13CNMR analysis. The two compounds are:(l) batyl alcohol, (2) N-[l-(hydroxymethyl)-2-hydroxyl-(E,E)-3,7-heptadecadienal]- h exadecanamide. From Acropora pulchra and Porites Compressa Dana,a mixture of sterol has been isolated respectively. Based on GC-MS analysis, twelve sterol and two steroidione are identified.A new compound has been isolated from the Laurencia majuscule Lucas, it's structure was determined by IR, MS, 'HNMR, 13CNMR, clemently analysis. The compound is P -d-Arabinoside, 1-O-hexadecyl.
