Study On Application Of Self-Fixid Neutral Sizing Agent WSF-I

Substituting the acid papermaking neutral and alkaline papermaking for the neutral and alkaline papermaking can enhance the quality and the grades of paper and paperboard. This paper mainly studies the sizing techniques and mechanism of self-fixed neutral sizing agent WSF- I when used in the bleached baggase pulp0 The combination of crossing design and uniformity design scanning electron microscope observation and organic dissolvent Extraction were used to optimize and analyze in this research. Including three aspects: (1)to search for the optimal sizing techniques;(2)to analyze the factors affecting the sizing; (3)simply studies the sizing mechanism. The results of this research are shown as follow: 1. By means of several optimized experiments, the optimal sizingtechniques acquired for WSF- I are: dosage of WSF- I 1.8%;degrees of beating 35SR; dosage of CS 1.5%; pH value 7.5;dosage of APAM 0.05%.2. The factors affecting sizing of WSF- I are manifold, such as Degrees of beating -, Water properties-, pH value-, Chemicals-, Drying temperature etc. they all make great difference to sizing effect.3. The combining between WSF- I and cellulose is not because of the simple attraction for static, but for the formation of good-intention linear network structure.
