Wood vinegar is a mixture separated from the products of biomass pyrolysis. Wood vinegar has been developed with in-depth study in many areas at home and abroad. It is necessary to be refined for wood vinegar with the application of wood vinegar. The common method of refining will result in the loss of wood vinegar ingredient. Wood vinegar is enriched by integrated membrane technology to achieve maximum retention of original components in wood vinegar in this experiment.Wood vinegar from a company of Shangqiu is regarded as the research object in this article and pilot plant as experimental device. Process of MF-UF-NF-RO is comprehensively utilized for handling with wood vinegar to investigate the retention effect of each membrane and the factors of membrane separation.Optimum outlet pressure of ultrafiltration was 0.15 MPa and the corresponding water flux was 350 L/h.0.80 MPa was optimized pressure of nanofiltration device and the water flux was about 120 L/h. It is better for high-pressure reverse osmosis in the condition of 3.15 MPa and water flux of 500 L/h. Low-pressure reverse osmosis did well at the pressure of 1.20 MPa and water flux of 180 L/h.Based on the condition above, two nanofiltration membranes are used to increase the membrane flux in parallel combination. Normal handling capacity of wood vinegar is 350 L/h and 48.6% wastewater can be removed from wood vinegar by membrane treatment. The continuous operation shows that recovery of total organic acid can reach more than 90% and recovery of acetic acid is more than 85% while treatment capacity of original liquid is about 350 L/h. Simultaneously, Volatile Hydroxybenzene in wood vinegar can reduce 95% by being handled with a series of membrance components.
