The dating, size distribution, configuration and surface structure features of dust microparticles were investigated in the upper Ningjingangsang ice core from 0m to 12m depth. With the difference among microparticles in Ningjingangsang ice core and microparticles in polar ice core and loess, it is necessary to study the low-latitude mountain glaciers. The year of the dating result is from 1986 to 2007.The measurements were accomplished using Electronic Scale and SEM (JEOL JSM-6700F) .And we get the following results:In the Ningjingangsang ice core, there is the positive correlation between the average size and the largest size of the dust microparticles, and also does the average size and the mass in unit length of the dust microparticles. The most part of dust microparticles is silt, especially fine silt. The size of microparticles was found to be around 6-8φ. The sorting is medium to poor. There are wide and multi-apex frequency distribution histograms, which have quite long thin caudas. And there is suspension separately showed in the cumulative probability curves. In addition, the mainly patterns of modalities are angular and sub-angular. All samples have different degrees of etching and deposited silicon. With the deposition time, the wind showed alternate change from strong to weak, which means from the strength period to the weakened period. And with the largest size showed alternate change from large to small, the mass of dust showed alternate change from high to low. This reflect that rainfall showed alternate change from more to little. So the temperature had alternate change from hot to cold.
