It is unavoidable that development of mineral resources can initiate a lot of environmental problems, for instance: Environmental calamity of geology, air pollution, etc. How can manage and utilize these resource reasonably, how to prevent environmental problems effectively, which cause all country government and relevant departments to be in the topic. Setting up green mine has brought into schedule in our country, some means and measures have taken to recover the mine environment. Constant development and progress of remote sensing and GIS technology has offered important means and method for monitoring and controlling the mine environment in science, which have already been utilized extensively by the professional people and has made certain achievement.This thesis utilizes SPOT-5 and Quick Bird to carry on the environmental exploitation which caused by mine monitoring in Panzhihua Vanadium titano magnetite & Baoding coal mining area in Sichuan Province. Utilize the fuzzy mathematics method to combine remote sensing and GIS technology to carry on environmental quality evaluation.The main research contents of this thesis include:(1) Remote sensing digital image processing . Including geometrical rectification, ortho-rectification, multispectral channels composing and image fusion, etc.;(2) Utilize high-resolution SPOT-5 data and Quick Bird data to carry on the mine environment investigation and monitoring in Panzhihua Vanadium titano magnetite & Baoding coal mining area, including geological calamity and atmosphere pollute ,etc;(3) Utilize GIS technology to analyze the environmental problem monitored by remote sensing image and produce serial relevant thematic maps; (4) Utilize RS and GIS technology to confirm the some environmental evaluation parameters, including factor collection, weight collection, evaluation area and evaluation index;(5) Utilize fuzzy mathematics and set up appraisal model to carry on environmental quality evaluation.According to the method described above to monitor, analyze and appraise, draw the conclusions as follow:â‘ Utilize SPOT-5 and Quick Bird to monitor the mine environment of studying area is a effective way and can get the satisfactory result;â‘¡by monitoring and to analyze the monitoring results, receive that there have 10 mud-rock flows and 23 latent landslides in the vanadium titanium magnet area; 12 mud-rock flows, 4 latent landslides, 10 cave-ins in Baoding coal mining area, the air pollution is xx.59 hm~2, the dust pollution is xxx.17 hm~2, the water pollution is x.84 hm~2 of the coal mining area;â‘¢Adopt fuzzy mathematics to combine remote sensing and GIS technology to appraise environment quality, receive the vegetation coverage rate, the dust pollutes situation, the water pollution situation, the calamity incidence, etc., and evaluate the environmental credit rating of the study area synthetically;â‘£Combine the actual conditions of the studying area through relevant policy materials, propose some relevant measures and suggestions of the mine environment recovery.From application, researching and analyzing can be found that the combination of RS and GIS technology has offered the scientific means and new thinking of analysis for the environmental investigation and monitoring that caused by exploiting the mine, this way will have saved a large amount of manpower and materials. The RS and GIS technology to combine fuzzy mathematics can carry on environment evaluation dependably and scientifically.
