The Huanghua part is a man-made harbor at the southwest of Bohai Bay ,90 kilometers far from Cangzhou of Hebei province. It is the second biggest export part of coal. Huanghua Port has been puzzled by the severe salutation of outer channel since being built in 2001. Accompanying with the goal of becoming one of the biggest harbors whose throughout amounts to one hundred millions tons In 2007 and the recent construction of the second railway line from Shanxi to Hanghua,It Is a pressure how to maintain the outer channel's navigable depth.Since the 1980's.The coast around Hanghua Port is silt or slit-muddy coast.It has been in morphological process by long-time erosion-retrogression and destruction from the ancient Yellow River Estuary's abandonment.The type of Huanghua coast is not only different from sandy coast but muddy coast, The characteristics of sediment is that the sediment is suspended by waves and transported by currents.On the basis of the historic data and research result, include the size of grain, the depth of sea water and the data of wind. It analyzed the distribution of suspended sediment and the evolution of erosion and deposition around Huanghua port area with the application of ECOMSED numerical simulation.Under normal climate, water has less content of suspended sediment and seabed is basically at light erosion state; The content of suspended is between 50mg/L~350mg/L , The most erosion state is 7.5 centimeter per annum , and the deposition state is 2.5 centimeter per annum.During gales whose wind force over grade 6 in NE, suspended sediment moved towards WSW, The content of suspended sediment in water is significantly higher than under normal weather conditions, between 100 milligrame per litre to 5000 milligrame per liter. And the erosion is higher too, Huanghua sea-route strongly deposited, 6 wind blowed last 22hours (the biggest wind force is 8 grade), the deposition of Huanghua sea-route is between 5centimete to 38centimete. The wind force over grade 6 blowed last 33 hours (the biggest wind force is 9 grade), the deposition of Huanghua sea-route is between 4centimete to 26centimete.During gales whose wind force over grade 6 in NW, suspended sediment moved towards SE, Compare with wind force over grade 6 in NW , The content of suspended sediment in water is less, but higher than under normal weather conditions, between 50 milligram per liter to 1000 milligrame per litre . And the erosion is less too. 6 wind blowed last 12hours(the biggest wind force is 8 grade), the deposition of Huanghua sea-route is about 2 centimete. The deposition is higher in northern part, is about 8 centimete.This text not only analyzed the distribution of suspended sediment and the evolution of erosion and deposition around Huanghua port area by macroscopical and microcosmic way, but also confirmed the sequence of erosion in the in the outer waterway , and provided available informations about how to solve it. The Model of ECOMSED's succeefully used ,not only enrich itself,but also provide a new methed when we study on this area.
