The Database Construction For Pollen Morphology Of Grassland And Desert Plants Of Inner Mongolia

The special landform,climate and soil conditions create the zonal vegetation of Inner Mongolia grassland plants, which contains forest grassland,typical grassland and desert steppe. Plant pollen resource is a precious natural resource .We built the database for pollen morphology of grassland and desert plants in Inner Mongolia, which based on not only 3000 electronic scanning micrographs, 700 plant morphological pictures and 200 landscape pictures, but also Chinese name,lading name,morphological characters,values,born,habitat,bloom period and nut period.We use ASP to edit the service process, Access to create database, ADO to connect the database, SQL to operate the database and Dream weaver MX 2004 to create the site. The database system is divided into two parts .One is Management System .The manager can add,edit,delete plant pollen information in it .Comment Management and User Management are also including it. The other is Information System .People can search information and give comment about the plant pollen information there.
