Firstly, in the paper, according to aerial standard HB7705-2001 "Standard test method for fatigue small crack growth rates of metallic materials", the test of fatigue small cracks growth has been made in the single-edge-notch tension (SENT) specimen of TA6V titanium alloy by applying the replica methods. By the test results, the fatigue small cracks growth behavior in TA6V titanium alloy has been investigated and analyzed at stress-ratios R = -1 & R = 0 and under different stress-level.Secondly, the fatigue fracture of TA6V titanium alloy SENT specimen is analyzed. The fatigue fracture fractography of cracks origins zone and cracks process zone and quickly failure zone in the course of crack propagation have been observed by virtue of the Scanning- electron-microscope (SEM), and the shaping reasons of the fatigue fracture fractography is analyzed.Finally, the fatigue of TA6V titanium alloy SENT specimen is analyzed at stress ratio R = -1 , and the stress distributions of the bottom of the hemicycle notch in TA6V titanium alloy are calculated by the finite elements analysis software ANSYS. The fatigue life of TA6V titanium alloy SENT specimen is calculated by the local stress-strain approch that associates the S-N curve and the Miner's cumulative fatigue damage rule in the software ANSYS. The fatigue life calculated by software ANSYS is compared with that by test, and the reasons that cause the difference are analyzed in order to afford the scientific accordance of the structural safety design in the fatigue.
