Based on the collected information, geological and hydrological exploration, this paper study on the characters of isotope and element hydro-geochemistry of the West Great Canyon in Xiangjiaba and the ambient water bodies in Jinsha River valley, Yibin.By investigating the areal geology background, geologic characters, main hydrogeochemistry conditions of this area, we find out its deep aiming heat storage layer and storage condition and summarize the water quality of thermal springs, distributed characters. Used of isotope tracer technique of natural water (hydrogen and oxygen isotope compositions, tritium contents), this paper traces the water origin and transportation process, and reveals the recharge and discharge relationship of various water bodies and hydro-geologic units. We find out the type of terrestrial heat system, distributing conditions, the relationship of geologic conformation with terrestrial heat, existent conditions of terrestrial and cyclic system of terrestrial heat water. Finally, we evaluate terrestrial heat resource and choose the potential development areas of terrestrial heat resource. The followings are the results of this research: W4, W6, W8, W12 in Jizhaoshan and W16, W20, W21 in Anbian, the drilling depth is about 1000m-1200m.
