Cricefulus rnigraborius distributes over high latitudes arid area of landlocked provinces. It's a kind of new type laboratory animal remain to developed. Available researched achievement indicated that it has some specific properties which the others don't have. The study about ecological adaptability of C. migratorius is one of the most important contents. Author made a thorough study about the effect on C. migraforizds under low temperature, hungriness, water-lacking conditions. Results showed: (1) C. migratorius can enter into hibernation under an ambient temperature 2-5 ~C in winter. During this time, it has some different characteristics to the others available laboratory animals. (2) The MR(mlO2/g h), C(m102/g h ), and EWL(mgH2O/g h), of C. migratorius are higher to the predicated ; It shows powerful endurance to low temperature and dry environment but faint adaptability to high temperature , the lethal Upper critical temperature is about 4O~C. (3) C. rnigratorius shows better adaptability under no drink and no food than offering drink but no food. This interesting abnormal result can be rectified through adding inorganic ion, this indicated that the reduction of endurance is because of the disruption of ion balance of Internal environment. A even more experiment reveal Na~ balance is the most important inorganic ion balance in blood serum.
