| Objective:Constitution is an inherent and relatively stable characteristic of human beings,which depends on the combined action of congenital and acquired factors.The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine classifies the human physique into five types based on the characteristics of the five elements of wood,fire,earth,gold and water,i.e.,the five forms of the human physique,which play a vital role in health maintenance and the treatment of untreated diseases.Many modern studies have explored the psychological characteristics of the five forms of the human physique,but still lack analysis of the morphological characteristics of the human body.The face,as the first part of the diagnosis,can reflect the overall state of the human body,and the facial characteristics of the five forms are different,so it is important to identify the five forms of the human physique by extracting and analyzing the morphological characteristics of the face.Even so,the current research on the facial features of five-shaped people still lacks a unified classification standard,which cannot realize the objectivity and measurability of TCM facial diagnosis and brings certain difficulties to the identification of the physical constitution of five-shaped people in TCM.At the same time,the technical limitations also restrict the development of facial recognition of five-shaped people to a certain extent.Therefore,this study conducts theoretical research on the doctrine of TCM physical constitution,physical constitution classification methods,the classification of five-shaped human physical constitution and the identification of five-shaped human physical constitution,proposes the extraction and analysis of five-shaped human facial features using face recognition methods,summarizes the laws of five-shaped human facial features,explores the physiological and pathological characteristics of five-shaped human,provides a technical interface for the development of intelligent identification technology of five-shaped human physical constitution and the establishment of a TCM face feature recognition database,and further exploits the technical interface of five-shaped human facial features recognition.It will provide a technical interface for the development of the intelligent recognition technology of five-shaped human body and the establishment of the database of TCM face feature recognition,and further exploit the application value of five-shaped human body in TCM diagnosis.Methods:This study used the methods of literature review and theoretical research to explore the classification and characteristics of the physique of the five shaped people in "The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine".Starting with the concept,classification,characteristics,and identification of physique,the facial and facial features of the five shaped people were determined.After that,the ASM model algorithm in computer image recognition technology is used to automatically mark the key feature points of 301 face images,and the distance between the feature points is calculated using the distance formula between two points.After that,the facial index method is used to calculate the ratio.Through quantitative methods,the facial and facial features of the five shaped person are ultimately obtained,thereby achieving computer automatic identification of the five shaped person’s physique.At the same time,clinical research methods were used to collect the physical appearance,personality,psychology,and physiological and pathological characteristics of the study subjects,and analyze the basic and pathological characteristics of the physique of the five shaped people from the perspective of shape and spirit,providing a basis for disease risk prediction.Result:1.General data statistics:① The physical distribution of the five shaped people in TCM:93 wooden shaped people,accounting for 30.8%;54 fire shaped people,accounting for 17.9%;44 earthy people,accounting for 14.6%;79 gold shaped people,accounting for 26.2%;31 water shaped people,accounting for 10.2%;② The gender composition of the five forms of Chinese medicine:53 males,248 females,with a male to female ratio of 1:4.68.Among them,there are 21 males and 72 females with a male to female ratio of 1:3.43;There are 8 males and 46 females with a male to female ratio of 1:5.75;There are 12 males and 32 females with a male to female ratio of 1:2.67;There are 10 males and 69 females with a male to female ratio of 1:6.9;There are 2 males and 29 females with a male to female ratio of 1:14.5.2.The facial characteristics of the five forms of human body in TCM:①Facial characteristics of wood shaped people:morphological surface index and 61.29%;②The psychological characteristics of Fire Shaped People are as follows:optimistic self satisfaction,strong adaptability,enthusiasm and persistence,irritability,open-minded,and trustworthy.Among them,optimistic self satisfaction has the highest frequency,accounting for 53.70%;③The psychological characteristics of earthly people are as follows:willingness to help others,quiet and peaceful,conscientious in doing things,honest and loyal,trustworthy,and strong adaptability.Among them,willingness to help others is the most frequent,accounting for 52.27%;④The psychological characteristics of Jinxing people are as follows:conscientiousness,firm will,strong adaptability,strong temperament,and honesty.Among them,conscientiousness is the most frequent occurrence,accounting people(64.5%)are prone to diseases in winter,16 people(51.6%)are prone to diseases in summer,and 13 people(42.0%)are prone to diseases in spring.Among them,Changxia has the highest prevalence rate,exceeding 75%.Conclusion:Analyzing the differences in physical and psychological characteristics of the five forms of human body can lay a theoretical foundation for the identification of the five forms of human body.The facial contour and facial features of the five shaped human body can be quantified by computer face image recognition methods,providing a technical interface for the intelligent recognition technology of the five shaped human body and the establishment of a TCM facial feature recognition database.Clarifying the physical,psychological,and pathological characteristics of the five forms of human body can enrich the content of the identification of the five forms of human body in TCM,and provide a basis for the identification of visceral diseases and disease risk prediction,helping to achieve the objectivity and measurability of TCM. |
