Group Of Taxi Drivers' Bodily Practice Based On Social Participation

Since the policy of China's reform and opening up,a new typical group of taxidriver whose existence is an important sign of China's social change had come into being and grown stronger.This group displays its trait of multidimensionality and complexity in Chinese society.A great deal of researches have been done continuously along traditional Sociology of Labor from the optic angle of opposition and have achieved certain success.Yet,being a multidimensional and complex group,the community of taxi-drivers has not been totally studied with its discovery of selfadvantage and social basis.Researchers rarely put their eyes on body practice of specific industry in the society from the aspect of social cooperation.After studying relative documents we found that the research to taxi-drivers' body practice in the society is still in absent and is waiting for us to undertake in combination with individual cases.Based on the case of “bodily practice in the social participation of taxi-drivers group in J city of northeast China”,this paper mainly explores the following problems by using the visual field and qualitative research method of “phenomenological sociology”,life narration,subjective experience of working world and bodily practice,objective significance,inter-subject relationship of common world.In order to reveal the truth and essence of social facts,the author establishes Problem Domain under the phenomenological approach of “suspending preconceptions”,and discusses such issues as the formation process,subject cognition,subjective goal,motive strategy of bodily practice,the group culture and social norm tradition embedded by the driver subject,the reconstruction of order,the link and the influence between the subjects,and the consequences,etc.Before writing,the author adopts naturalistic principles and ideas,and tries his best to keep natural attribute of the object of study and the objective facts.In the process of writing,on the one hand,NVivo11 Plus is used to encode nodes and refine topics;on the other hand,in order to express clearly,it uses the methods of“meaning” presentation,exploratory in-depth analysis,comparative analysis.Here are some of the findings:Firstly,The bodily practice of the community of taxi drivers in J city that embedded in the development process of urban civilization,the structure of industry,the construction of group culture and social order,the structure system of multi-agent interaction game is in a nested structure.Secondly,the Taxi-drivers Group in J city take the physical presence and embodied body technology as the media,and imagine the bodily practice as a shared experience,which forms the subjective meaning,that is,a process of reflection,cognition and construction.Drivers define bodily practice as a group culture and habit,play its role in the participation of social emergency events,and construct civilization and order tradition,that is,objective meaning in the collision of multiple subjects.Thus,the social significance and influence of the process of bodily practice are multi-dimensional.Thirdly,it indicates that the bodily practice mode or process is manifested in the form of a pluralist mixed mode that is in harmony with the“co-construction”,“co-governance” and “sharing” of the current social governance in China.The order of civilization construction in J city is a kind of magnetic field of“civilization fashion” that adsorbs each related individual(department)in the network,forms constructs for the city image brand spreaded by radiation.And finally,J City taxi drivers who had to bear the original sin will also drill camp,cut corners,roll polarization in order to make a living.when the group of taxi drivers are exposed the narrowness of their behavior,such as grassroots entrapment and retrogressive violence,on the one hand,the radio media guided and stopped the violence in time,and on the other hand,the relevant administrative departments launched the theme of “creating a civilized city”continuously,“Group Polarization” disappears.This is entirely due to the social order and rational system of the driver group,so that it can return to good and civilization.As time changes,under the network media technology sharing,people not only get more survival opportunities,but also face severe challenges.Taxi drivers wake up themselves and cooperate with the city administration with body expression —technical body and concrete body.This method of close interacting with the city provides us a lively case,which is researchable and attractive in the science of sociology.
