ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of warm acupuncture and moxibustion in elderly patients with liver-kidney deficiency type knee osteoarthritis,it is intended to confirm the feasibility and effectiveness of warm acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of senile patients with liverkidney deficiency type knee osteoarthritis, providing a new idea and treatment plan for the clinical treatment of senile patients with liverkidney deficiency type knee osteoarthritis.MethodsA total of 86 elderly patients with knee osteoarthritis with liver and kidney deficiency were divided into observation group and control group randomly, each group include 43 cases. The observation group was treated with warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with celecoxib capsule, and Dubi(ST 35)Neixiyan(Ex-LE 04)and Yanglingquan(GB 34)were selected. The control group was treated with general oral celecoxib capsule for a period of 4 weeks. The effect of warm acupuncture and moxibustion on senile knee osteoarthritis and the effect of warm acupuncture and moxibustion on IL-1,IL-6,TNF-α and MMP-3 were compared.Results1.During the treatment and follow-up period,a total of 40 patients in the observation group were treated and followed up,and 3 cases(3 cases were patients’ family members who refused to continue to collect joint fluid)were lost, with a loss rate of 7.0%.In the control group,41 cases were treated and followed-up,2 cases fell off(2 cases of family members refused to continue collecting joint fluid after treatment),and the fall rate was 4.7%.A total of 81 patients were treated and followed up.2.Total clinical efficacy of samples from the observation group and the control group: the total effective rate of the observation group was95.00%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 90.23%.After treatment,WOMAC scores in both observation and control groups improved significantly compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement score of dysfunctions in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Secondly,KSS and VAS score of both groups were significantly reduced after treatment, and the effect of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).3.After treatment,IL-1,IL-6,TNF-α and MMP-3 levels in both groups were significantly lower than before, and those in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between WOMAC score and IL-1.Knee function score was positively correlated with IL-1 and MMP3.Pain score was positively correlated with IL-6(P<0.05).Conclusion1.Warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with drugs can effectively treat elderly KOA,effectively improve WOMAC,knee joint function and pain score of patients, and can achieve better therapeutic effect than drugs only;2.The mechanism of warm acupuncture in the treatment of senile KOA may be achieved by regulating the level of IL-1,IL-6,TNF-α and MMP-3 in the patients;...
