Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Asthenopia By Walnut Shell Moxibustion Combined With Periocular Acupoints Massage

Objective: The purpose of this study was to objectively evaluate the clinical efficacy of walnut shell moxibustion with periocular acupoints massage in treating asthenopia and discuss its clinical significance.Provides new therapy ideas for this symptoms.Methods:Seventy-two patients with asthenopia who met the inclusion criteria were selected.The patients were divided into two groups,including test group and control group,according to the random number table,and each group has 36 cases.The test group were treated by walnut shell moxibustion with periocular acupoints massage once a week.The control group was given only periocular acupoints massage.Both groups were treated for eight weeks.After treatment,taking further observations and comparing the variation of the two groups’ TCM symptom integral meter.Based on the data,evaluated the therapeutic effect and discussed the discrepancy of the two methods according to the efficacy evaluation criteria.Results: The results showed that in the acupuncture group,2 cases were cured,12 cases were markedly effective,15 cases were effective,3 cases were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 90.63%.In the control group,1 case was cured,6 cases were markedly effective,17 cases were effective,8 cases were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 75.00%.The apparent visual duration of the two groups was significantly higher than that before treatment(P < 0.05),which indicated that the two groups had improved after the treatment,and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P <0.05).After treatment,the visual acuity of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group(P < 0.05),indicating that the therapeutic effect of the experimental group was more obvious than that of the control group after treatment.According to the result of appeal,the effective rate of acupuncture in treatingvisual fatigue was 90.63%,and the curative effect was very obvious,which was much better than that in the control group.Conclusions: 1.Through clinical observation,it is proved that walnut shell eyeglass moxibustion combined with periocular acupoints Massage has the effect of dredging the qi and blood of visual collaterals,spreading the eye to clear the orifice,and co-playing with other acupoints to soothe the meridian and clear the collaterals to reconcile the work of qi and blood.The total effective rate of treating asthenopia is obvious,and the curative effect is obvious.It can relieve the eye regulation function,and eliminate the clinical symptoms of visual fatigue.2.Walnut shell moxibustion combined with eye massage has a good effect on the clinical treatment of patients with asthenopia,and it can relieve the syndrome of asthenopia quickly,so that the patients have more confidence in the treatment.3.Walnut shell moxibustion and periocular acupoints massage as a part of chinese medicine,high safety,no side effects.
