Educational leaders are increasingly called upon to incorporate leadership on health and wellness into the already challenging work of leading complex organizations. However, little current research is available on educational leaders' own health and well-being. This research study used a mixed methods design with analysis of survey research data and semi-structured interviews with educational leaders to understand how K-12 educational leaders report their own health and well-being on measures of self-reported health (SRH), health-related quality of life (HRQOL), and well-being (SWB), and how leaders ' perceptions of their health and well-being shapes their leadership.
