| This dissertation examined the current literature on substance abuse and trauma treatment in Latino adolescents in order to create an integrated workbook. It is the first known attempt to synthesize these three variables into a developmentally and culturally appropriate resource. Twelve experts reviewed the workbook using a quantitative and qualitative feedback questionnaire. The quantitative ratings ranged from 4.08 to 4.83 (based on a 5-point Likert-type scale). Among the qualitative feedback, the expert reviewers commented on the usefulness, organization, and visual appeal of the workbook. Their feedback highlighted the importance of developing culturally sensitive treatment for Latino adolescents, as well as the need for accessible and engaging integrated treatment. Limitations of the clinical application and implications for future research and development are identified. |
