In networked radar systems(NRS),a number of radars with diverse bands, diverse polariza-tions and different systems, which are deployed appropriately in different geographic positions, are connected to a fusion center via wire or wireless communication.Benefitted from space di-versity and information fusion,NRS pose the advantages of target detection, target tracking and anti-jamming.The utilization of cyber and communication technology is a double-edged sword. On one hand,it increases the information interaction between radars and the fusion center,as well as increasing the capacity of adapting environments. On the other hand,it also increases the open-ness of NRS,resulting in the vulnerability to cyber attacks.Since NRS are usually deployed in civil and military infrastructures, cyber attacks potentially lead to great threats to national security and economy. Therefore,it is necessary to study the security problem of NRS.However, few work has considered the security problem of NRS so far.The existing related work has rarely considered the key issues in the security problem of NRS such as the effects caused by cyber attacks on NRS,and the strategies against cyber attacks.Motivated by this, this thesis studies the security problem of NRS.Based on information fusion technology, the research of this thesis includes the centralized and decentralised fusion of state estimation against false data injection(FDI)attack, the detection fusion for multiple cyber attacks, and the fusion of joint detection and state estimation against denial-of-service(DoS)attack.The specific research contents in this thesis are as follows:1.An overview of existing literature on the security problem of NRS is provided, and the draw-backs of current researches are analyzed.2.The insecurity of the NRS based on centralized state estimation fusion is proved when the FDI attack exists.Further,a novel centralized state fusion algorithm against the FDI attack is proposed.3.The effects caused by the FDI attack on the NRS based on discentralized state estimation fusion are analyzed, and a new discentralized state estimation fusion algorithm against the FDI attack is proposed4.For the problem of simultaneously detecting multiple cyber attacks in NRS,based on random finite set(RFS)theory,a new detection fusion algorithm which can simultaneously detect the attacked radars and the number of cyber attacks is proposed.5.An RFS-based fusion algorithm of joint detection and state estimation is proposed, and the effects caused by the DoS attack on the NRS based on the proposed fusion algorithm are analyzed. In the end, this thesis is concluded and several future research directions are discussed.
