Libraries,museums and archives(LMA)are the major institutions which preserve the human cultural heritage and provide culture information service to the public.With the advent of information era,it's both the opportunity and challenge for the coupling of culture and technology to libraries,museums and archives.On one hand,LMA can apply digital technology to expand the temporal and spacious of information services,develop more cultural information resources,and take full advantage of the social function;On the other hand,users' expectations that information services should be more networked,more sharable,more incremental,and more quickly also make LMA face many new problems.In order to provide better cultural information service to the public,the outline of the National Cultural Reform and Development Program during the "Twelfth Five-Year" period proposed to "accelerate the pace of application of modern technology to improve the digital,networked level of public cultural services;promote multi-department cooperation projects to realize integration,co-construction and sharing of cultural resources." For libraries,museums and archives,cooperating with each other and providing convergence service based on digital technology,is not only the needs of dealing with the challenges of digital technology,but also the inevitable requirement for meeting the growing public demand for spiritual and cultural life.Based on the above background,taking ask-analyze-solve problems as the logic thread,as well as on the basis of previous research results and under the guidance of system theory,this paper discussed digital convergence service of cultural heritage information resources collected in Chinese LMA by applying information demand theory,information service theory,lifestyles theory,interface management theory.This paper carries out the following tasks:(1)Introducing the basic concepts and theories to provide a foundation for the subsequent research.(2)Discussing the necessity and feasibility of digital convergence service provided by Chinese LMA,and the service practice home and abroad;analyzing the influencing factors of digital convergence service among Chinese LMA;proposing the user-oriented digital convergence service,then exploring the service concept,component elements,dynamical mechanisms and implementation strategy.(3)Investigating the LMA users'needs of cultural heritage information resources and digital convergence service.(4)Based on the conclusions of interview with LMA and user investigation,designing a digital convergence service platform by using functional characteristics of digital convergence service platform home and abroad for reference.(5)Based on interface management theory,exploring the management model of digital convergence service.The main contributions of the thesis are as follows:First,this paper introduced the necessity,feasibility and realizing route of digital convergence service among Chinese LMA.Developing digital convergence service of cultural heritage information resources among Chinese LMA has historical necessity and realistic feasibility.The fast-growing public needs of cultural information,the organization mission of protection of cultural heritage and spread of Chinese culture,and the risks and challenges of digital technology make three institutions carry digital convergence service;Meanwhile,complementary cultural resources,similar management and service processing,existing digital construction and service practices,coupling with the development of multiple digital technologies provide the theoretical and practical feasibility to digital convergence service among LMA.This paper proposes that "user-centered,'five forces' exerted together" is dynamical mechanisms for the digital convergence service of cultural heritage information resources among Chinese LMA.Implementation strategies include that:establishing trans-border management organization to promote the development of digital convergence service under the guidance of the government;Constructing and Sharing the cultural heritage Information Resources among Chinese LMA,taking a hybrid service model to provide services for users;encouraging multi-participation,combining with existing projects related service to promote the implementation of digital convergence services among Chinese LMA.Second,this paper investigated the LMA users' service needs and designed the digital convergence service platform.Combining information demand theory and the lifestyles theory,this paper designed the questionnaire and investigated the LMA users,then summed LMA users'service needs of digital convergence services of cultural heritage information resources by statistical analysis of the sample.Findings display that:users' cognitive biases on LMA service function of heritage information resources are existed,and different user groups have different demands on heritage information resources and digital convergence service.For libraries,museums and archives,strengthening digital service widespread propaganda of cultural heritage information resources,further studying the differences of the characteristics and demand content of the different user groups,and providing user-oriented innovative services and forms to segment groups can well meet the culture information needs of the users and improve LMA's service quality.Then,according to the conclusions of interview with LMA and user investigation,this paper tries to design a digital convergence service platform by using functional characteristics of digital convergence service platform home and abroad for reference,which integrates common service forms of LMA with service philosophy of multi-interaction and user-participation.Third,from the perspective of interface management theory,this study constructed interface management model and explored management of digital convergence service.It is found that the interface system of digital convergence service is composed of interface between the LMA(interface ?),interface between the system and the user(interface ?),and interface between departments of one organization(interface ?),and the three interfaces are interacting and mutual influencing.Among them,interface ? and interface ? involve interactions between multiple institutions and multiple users,so they are directly related to the successful development of digital convergence service.(a)Interface ? has three interfaces including organization interface,resources interface,and information interface.Organization interface management focuses on building trans-border management organization which coordinates the relations of LMA and improving the management systems;establishing an effective incentive mechanism,strengthening inter-agency cooperative culture and perfecting intellectual property management are beneficial to management the resources interface;management content of information interface is establishment collaborative work platform,standardize information content and enrich delivery channels among libraries,museums and archives.(b)Interface ? has three interfaces including business interface,information interface,and psychological interface.The focus management of business interface is providing user-centered services,such as scientific designing functions,enriching service resources,and optimizing processes;the task of information interface management is constructing unblocked communication channels between users and digital convergence service system;the content of psychological interface management is enhancing the user 's service experience by taking multiple measures,and forming a virtuous psychological interaction between users and service system.
