Colleges and universities are important parts of the science and technology innovation system.To strengthen the collaborative innovation among different disciplines in universities,to reinforce the support to interdisciplinarities and key science and technology teams.and to improve the inter-university collaborative innovation are important method to solve the key scientific problems and tackle the key technical difficulties.Although numerous research has been carried out on collaborative innovation networks among enterprises and on industry-university-research cooperative networks,the research on collaborative innovation cooperation among universities has been rarely reported from the perspective of complex network.Therefore,this thesis is mainly focused on the formation mechanism and the cooperative mode of collaborative innovation networks among universities.Main sections and conclusions are as follows:1.Research on the Formation Mechanism of Collaborative Innovation Networks among UniversitiesThe endogenous and exogenous factors which influence the formation of collaborative innovation networks among universities are proposed.By constructing the interpretive structure model,the research reveals that the willingness and collaborative innovation motive force are the fundamental motivation for the formation of network,Government guidance and spontaneous cooperation are the main ways of network formation.Problem orientation,exploration orientation and trust orientation are the starting points of collaboration.2.Research on the Cooperative Mode of University Collaborative Innovation Networks Guided by GovernmentA collaborative innovation network among colleges and universities is constructed using the data from the Collaborative Innovation Center of the Ministry of Education.Main characteristics,structural characteristics,and community characteristics of the networks are studied.The intersubjective cooperative mode is excavated,including: cooperation based on complementary advantages of disciplines and industries,cooperation based on geographical advantages and resource endowments,and cooperation based on academic reputation,etc.A collaborative innovation network between universities based on spontaneous formation is constructed based on the joint award-winning data.Main characteristics,structural characteristics,and community characteristics of the networks are studied.The identification method of core community is proposed,and the cooperative mode among subjects is excavated,concluding that the cooperative mode of industry-university-research in key application fields is the dominating mode,while the cooperative mode of university-research institute in key fundamental research fields,and the decentralized cooperative mode in advantage discipline or key industries are also prevalent;Comparing the cooperative mode of government-guided collaborative innovation networks and spontaneously-formed collaborative innovation networks of universities,the differences are revealed that the former focuses on regional cooperation and academic reputation-oriented cooperation,while the latter focuses on cooperation in fundamental research fields and application fields;both modes focus on the cooperation based on disciplinary advantages and industrial applications.3.Research on the Evolution of Cooperative Mode of Collaborative Innovation Networks between UniversitiesBased on the collaborative innovation network constructed by the joint awardwinning data,the stochastic graph model of complex network index is constructed,including cross-section model and time series model.The motivation of the formation of network structure is studied,and the evolution of cooperative mode of collaborative innovation networks is discussed in detail.The results are summarized as follows:the connectivity and diffusion structure of collaborative innovation network among universities are not significant;the cooperation experience among the subjects does not promote the evolution of the network obviously;closure of network,the openness,geographic proximity between subjects and regional homogeneity of collaborative innovation network all contribute to the evolution of the network cooperation model.In summary,we obtained the characteristics of collaborative innovation network among universities,such as: sparse cooperative relationships,aggregation of core nodes,diversified cooperative modes and insufficient evolutionary driving forces.In view of the network characteristics and the problems in the evolution of cooperation modes,the reasons are analyzed,including: weak sense of cooperation,excessive resource orientation in cooperation,lack of classification management,etc.Finally,the countermeasures and suggestions for promoting collaborative innovation and cooperation among universities and healthy evolution of network cooperation modes are put forward in the aspects of classification management,distribution of cooperative interests,and construction of cooperation platformsOn one hand,this thesis enriches the domain of collaborative innovation network research,providing a theoretical framework for collaborative innovation network research among universities.On the other hand,the research on the structural characteristics and cooperative mode of collaborative innovation network between universities will provide support for decision-making on the formation and effective evolution of collaborative innovation network.
