Background:Thailand has provided the loan fund to promote equality in education for 23 years;however, this program is faced with owed debt status from more than 2 million graduate students. In our literacy, personality share potential effect on how we intend to perform a behavior, but one side of personality namely "Dark Triad" is never been studied in Thailand. Thus, understanding how individuals manage their money is necessary for economists because the present world is more financially driven, and it was interesting to explore. Objectives:The purposes ofthe present study were to(i)explore the differences in human Dark Triad of personality among undergraduate students,(ii)To explore the association between the Theory of Planned Behavior(TPB)and six processes of change from Transtheoritical Model of Change(TTM)S(iii)to develop Money Management Intention Model based on Theory of Planned Behavior and six processes of change and(iv)to define the imposed model differences across two groups of students between self-support and loan students.Method:A total 2,573 Thai university undergraduate students were randomly recruited;1,330 in developing 3 measurements and 1,243 in the main cross-sectional design study.Structure Equation Modelling(SEM)with multiple group analysis together with chi-square,t-test and analysis of variance will be performed between self-support and loan students. The results will be presented into four main sub-studies:(i)significant differences in Dark Triad among demographic data,(ii)prediction of TPB construct to 6 processes of change from TTM,(iii)generate the model from 3 paradigms,Dark Triad,TPB,TTM to explain money management intention for whole samples and(iv)generate the multi-group analysis model to explain money management intention between self-support and loan students. Results:All Dark Triad traits In male were higher significantly than female.Machiavellianism in students who made positive money planning was higher than the negative ones.Six processes of change could be predicted positively by Machiavellianism and Narcissism and negative by Psychopathy. The model generated to explain money management intention with the goodness of fit.Night individual paths were different across two groups of students.Based on the overall findings, they presented possibilities of overlapping between Machiavellianism and Psychopathy traits.Psychopathy could be potentially developed as a risk money management screening test for both group of students.Additionally, although this study supported the use of processes of change within stages of change,non-linearity of the 6 processes of change was possibly detected.Selecting the suitable process to any target progresses should be strongly concerned. Therefore, encouraging an initial step of managing money as Self-liberation and Social Liberation processes for self-support students and identifying social supports and behavior model as Self-liberation and Social Liberation with Dramatic Relief for loan students might present higher effective.
