background:The incomparable Dakpo physician, also know as Gampopa,or Dakpo Lharje, was a great medical expert born in the 11th century. He and the illustrious Zhang Medicine Nakpa pa)composed the Precious Ocean of Principle Medical Works,or Hundred Thousand Miscellaneous Texts, which preceded Yutok Yonten Gonpo’s excellent compilation of the Four Tantras(rgyud bzhi).Yutok Yonten Gonpo was the student of Gampopa’s disciple Zhang Medicine Nakpa, thus making Yutok Yonten Gonpo also a student of Gampopa.purposes:The present research has two main areas of focus:the medical works and achievements related to Dakpo Lharje and a literary analysis of Hundred Thousand Miscellaneous Texts. In the realm of religious history and hagiographies, there is much recorded of Dakpo Lharje’s dharmic achievements. However, there is only a mere scattering and vague sense of what he has accomplished in the development of Tibetan medicine, the manner in which he cultivated his Tibetan medical studies, and so forth. In particular, even in accounts of Tibetan medical history his works and achievements are not clear. As such, among contemporary researchers, this study investigates these detailed contexts. It completes the review of extensive literature sources, including historical accounts of the development of the dharma, hagiographies, and numerous other sources. The author consulted oral accounts and compiled that which is clearly articulated in the literature.Furthermore, the author, not insignificantly, traveled to the actual places of Gampopa’s life一seeking the rediscovery of his birthplace, establishing his parents’ identity, and detailing the subsequent generations after his death in as much detail as possible. As such, this study seeks to reach a greater definitive understanding of Gampopa’s life and activities through the full evidence available for thorough assessment through the lens of inferential reasoning.According to the research, there are 168 chapters in the complete version of Hundred Thousand Miscellaneous Texts, including 121 chapters in the fundamentals,38 chapters in the annotations and 9 chapters in the secrets of analysis.methods:This paper adopts anthropology, history, linguistics, bibliography, folklore, logic, exegesis, collation, literature comparison and inductive analysis.First, the author presents the detailed achievements in medicine of the Incomparable Dakpo Lharje. Then, the author seeks to provide a new detailed, complete account of the Hundred Thousand Miscellaneous Texts from its initial dispersed form.Furthermore,on account of the lesser dissemination of handwritten texts, and thus the limited dissemination of the content of the Hundred Thousand Miscellaneous Texts, the author provides a complete account of the entire text. This study assesses challenges of more extensive texts:the presence of more archaic terms, less detailed table of contents, and greater occurrences of disturbances to the proper content sequence. As such, one cannot understand the content of great texts with ease. This study conducts an analysis of the entire text of the great work Hundred Thousand Miscellaneous Texts. Finally, the author will continue to research the compiled Hundred Thousand Miscellaneous Texts to bring forth its capacity to provide unprecedented guiding insight into the clinical context. Conclusion:This manuscript presents its content by way of five conclusion.1.Dakpo Lharje’s Biography and His Medical AchievementsThis chapter elucidates Dakpo Lharje’s biographical details,as well as the modes in which he fostered studies of Tibetan medicine, how he sought instruction from the three great medical masters, how he conducted clinical practice, the medical treatises he composed, and the medicinal compounds he developed. This Lharje’s Handwritten Hundred Thousand Miscellaneous TextsThis chapter provides an analysis of four of the handwritten works, including their specific characteristics, content, and topics addressed in pa).The main topics covered by the Hundred Thousand Miscellaneous Texts comprise:anatomy and physiology, diagnostic methods, treatments and antidotes, and a detailed elucidation of master healers and the origins of medical works. Also, this chapter presents analysis of content phrases and words, including connective particles, archaic terms, abbreviations, uncommon language and so forth.4.Comparative Analysis of Hundred Thousand Miscellaneous Texts and Other Medical Works This chapter compares Hundred Thousand Miscellaneous Texts to the texts that preceded it,namely:Medical Arts of the Lunar King(sman dpyad zla ba’i rgya po)and Biji’s Worn Yellow-Edged Volume(bi ji’i po ti kha ser),and those texts that were its contemporaries, namely:Principles of the Aggregates of the Monk’s Robe(phung po gzan skyur gyi rnam gzhag),Four Tantras(rgyud bzhi),and Stories of Ling(gling sgrung).5.Influence of Hundred Thousand Miscellaneous Texts on Later Medical Treatises This chapter presents a comparative analysis of the modes of influence, mutual discourse, transmissions and primary logic of subsequent medical treatises such as Dakpo Lharje’s Treasury ofAdvice for Knowledge to be Beneficent,Gampopa’s liberating ornament Jewel Ornament of Liberation,Verses on the Critical Points of the Oral Instructions Tantra, and likewise Deumar Tenzin Puntsok’s Sprout of Blessings:Medical Register of Received Teachings,Practical Awa Cloud Commentary:Showers of Quintessential Eloquence,Wheel of Water that Conquers the Suffering of Blazing Fire:Great Expository Teaching on Lhokpa(lhok pa),Heart Essence of
