| The research question states that "what are the perspectives of social health insurance(SHI)in post conflict fragile state South Sudan,based on socioeconomic,health believes and social capital?".The health believed model(HBM)was adopted in this research encompassing general health and its cognitive effect on(WTP)willingness to pay for social health insurance.MethodsQualitative and quantitative methodologies were used to analyze sample size of 723 households.An open contingent valuation method was used on the main variable(WTP)willingness to pay.Analysis of variance was used to establish(WTP)willingness to pay.Individual,community and organization theories,were used to deduce whether there exists solidarity for funding health care among post conflict fragile state South Sudan.FindingsAverage(WTP)willingness to pay of approximately $ 32 dollars was achieved.The trio,approach had demonstrated that there exist greater perspectives in health care funding through social solidarity in health insurance.Preventive behaviors in health through human desire of(WTP)willingness to pay for social health insurance were demonstrated.Socioeconomically,a significant p-value of(0.001)was found.The social model achieved significant p-value of(0.0072).And the health believed model(HBM)with p-value of(0.0081).ConclusionsHealth risks "taking regular medication" and health vulnerability" my health is my life "have established a significant prediction in(WTP) at p-value of(0.0045).Foreseen... |
