| Objectives(1)To evaluate the reliability and validity of Occupational Stress Inventory Revised Edition(OSI-R)and Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey(MBI-GS).(2)To analyze the current status of occupational stress and job burnout among medical staffs and its correlation analysis with personality characteristics in Guangxi with OSI-R,MBI-GS,and EPQ-RSC.(3)To establish structural equations modeling of occupational stress,job burnout and personality characteristic among Guangxi medical staffs.To analyze the factors affecting of job burnout.To establish basic data for the occupational health research among medical staffs in Guangxi.Methods(1)The method of stratified random cluster sampling was used,1382medical staffs as the research subject were selected from 12 hospitals in Guangxi.Homogeneity reliability,split-half reliability,test-retest reliability and factor analysis were used to assess the reliability and validity of OSI-R,MBI-GS.(2)The method of stratified random cluster sampling was used,1382 medical staffs as the research subject were selected from 12 hospitals in Guangxi.The current status of occupational stress that 1382 medical staffs in Guangxi were investigated by OSI-R.The current status of job burnout that 1382medical staffs in Guangxi were investigated by MBI-GS.(3)Structural equations modeling of occupational stress,job burnout and personality characteristic among Guangxi medical staffs were established.Results(1)Cronbach’sαcoefficient of OSI-R was 0.891;split-half reliability was0.934 and test-retest reliability was 0.608(P<0.001).Cronbach’sαcoefficient,split-half reliability and test-retest reliability of MBI-GS were 0.886,0.963 and0.648(P<0.001),respectively.OSI-R and MBI-GS had satisfactory construct validity.The content validity of OSI-R and MBI-GS were good.The factor load of most entries in OSI-R and entries in MBI-GS is ideal in the corresponnding.OSI-R and MBI-GS have good reliablity and validity.(2)The current status of occupational stress that 1382 medical staffs in Guangxi were investigated by OSI-R.The results show that there was significant difference between gender,age,nation,job title,profession,physical condition,Whether meet with the hospital violence of the distribution characteristics of occupational stress(P<0.05).The score of coping resources was higher than that of Zhuang medical staffs.Medical staffs aged 51 or above scored the lowest in occupational stress,the ability to deal with resources were the strongest.The occupational stress level of medical staffs with advanced title was low,and their ability to respond to resources were strong.The degree of occupational stress of the doctors were obviously higher than that of the nurses.The occupational stress level of the sick medical staffs was significantly higher than that of the non medical staff.The occupational stress level of medical staffs who had experienced hospital violence was higher than that of medical staffs who had not experienced any hospital violence.(3)The current status of job burnout that 1382 medical staffs in Guangxi were investigated by MBI-GS.The results show that there was significant difference between gender,age,nation,department,job title,profession,physical condition,Whether meet with the hospital violence and the hospital in different departments of the distribution characteristics of job burnout(P<0.05).The scores of emotional exhaustion and dehumanization of Zhuang Nationality Medical Staffs were higher than Han nationality.Medical staffs aged 51 or above scored the lowest in Job Burnout in all of ages.Surgeons have the highest score of low achievers.Medical staffs with senior title or sick or who had experienced hospital violence have a high level of occupational exhaustion.(4)The results of the correlation analyze of occupational stress and four dimensions of the Eysenck’s questionnaire showed that Occupational Role Questionnaire and Personal Strain Questionnaire correlated positively to the Psychoticism and the Neurotic(P<0.01),and correlated negatively to the Extroversion and the Lie(P<0.01);Then the Personal Resources Questionnaire correlated positively to the extroversion and the lie(P<0.01),and correlated negatively to the Psychoticism and the Neurotic(P<0.01).(5)The results of the correlation analyze of Job Burnout and four Dimensions of the Eysenck’s questionnaire showed that Emotional Exhaustion,Depersonalization and Reduced Personal Accomplishment correlated positively to the Psychoticism and the Neurotic(P<0.01),and correlated negatively to the Extroversion and the Lie(P<0.01).(6)The Pearson’s correlation analyze of Occupational Stress and Job Burnout that 1382 medical staffs in Guangxi were investigated by OSI-R and MBI-GS.The results show that Occupational Role Questionnaire and Personal Strain Questionnaire were correlated positively to the Exhaustion,Depersonalization and Reduced Personal Accomplishment(P<0.01).Then the Personal Resources Questionnaire was correlated negatively to the Exhaustion,Depersonalization and Reduced Personal Accomplishment(P<0.05).(7)The multiple stepwise regression analysis of Occupational Stress and Job Burnout that 1382 medical staffs in Guangxi were investigated by OSI-R and MBI-GS.The results show that role overload,role insufficiency and role ambiguity were the positively predictors of Emotional Exhaustion for medical staffs in Guangxi Ethnic Community(P<0.05);The physical strain, vocational strain and interpersonal strain were the main stressors of Occupational Stress to the Job Burnout(P<0.01).Then the rational coping,recreation and self-care were the main stress of Occupational Stress to the Job Burnout(P<0.001),and they were the negatively predictors of Personal Resources Questionnaire.(8)Structural equations modeling of occupational stress,job burnout and personality characteristic among Guangxi medical staffs,the overall model test results:χ~2=24.773,p=0.053>0.05.It is assumed that the theoretical model can match the actual data.Absolute fitness indexes:RMSEA value equals 0.022<0.08,GFI value equals 0.996>0.9,AGFI value equals 0.988>0.9.Incremental fit index NFI value equals 0.995>0.9,RFI value equals 0.987>0.9,IFI value equals 0.998>0.9,TLI value equals 0.995>0.9,CFI value equals 0.998>0.9.When the significant level ofα=0.05,CN value equals 1394,χ~2/df=1.652<2,AIC and CAIC value of theoretical model<independent model value<saturation model value.Conclusions(1)The two scales of Occupational Stress Scale(OSI-R)and Job Burnout Scale(MBI-GS)have good reliability and validity.However,part of the occupational stress rating scale(OSI-R)is not reasonable enough.It can be revised according to the actual situation.so that occupational stress scale(OSI-R)can be used more accurately to investigate the occupational stress level of medical care groups.(2)The level of the Occupational Stress that 1382 medical staffs in Guangxi was relatively higher than others.The sense of occupational exhaustion was obvious.The results show that there was significant difference between gender,age,nation,job title,profession,physical condition,Whether meet with the hospital violence of the distribution characteristics of occupational stress and job burnout.Male,over 51 years old,han,senior title,nurse,good health,have not been subjected to hospital violence in the past were protective factors.(3)The results of the correlation analyze of occupational stress and four dimensions of the Eysenck’s questionnaire showed that occupational role questionnaire,personalstrainquestionnaireemotionalexhaustion,depersonalization and reduced personal accomplishment correlated positively to the psychoticism and the Neurotic,and correlated negatively to the extroversion and the lie;Then the personal resources questionnaire correlated positively to stress sources of job burnout were overburden,discomfort of the task,task ambiguity,physical stress response and interpersonal stress response.The protective factors were rational work,self health
