Research On The TCM Syndrome Distribution And Syndrome Diagnosis Of Glycolipid Metabolic Disease

ObjectiveGlycolipid metabolic disease(GLMD)is one of the most prevalent chronic non-infectious disease with serious impact on the physical and mental health.The western treatments of GLMD show a low integrated standard rate,while traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has obviously curative effect with the direction of holistic view and syndrome differentiation and treatment system.However,there is still no uniform standard of diagnose and therapeutic evaluation which seriously affect the development and promotion of the TCM treatment of GLMD.This research carried out the study of syndromes on GLMD,including both literature research and clinical epidemiological investigations.What is more,methods of data mining technology was put in use in this research to analysis the TCM syndrome distribution of GLMD,and initially set the main syndrome and syndrome diagnosis item pool,in order to provide the theory basis for Chinese medicine dialectical specification,and lay the foundation for the disease diagnosis and curative effect evaluation.Methods1.The literature research method:retrieve the glycolipid metabolic disease related literature published on China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)from year 2006 to 2016,using " diabetes and hyperlipidaemia","diabetes and dyslipidemia"and "diabetes and abnormal lipid metabolism "as key words,"traditional Chinese medicine"," traditional Chinese and western medicine ","Chinese medicine","Chinese herbology”and"syndrome" as subject term.This research adopted the combination of manual retrieval and machine retrieval method,according to the strict literature into and exclusion criteria,finally summarized the common pattern of syndromes,common pathogenic factors and common viscera locations.2.The clinical epidemiological investigation method:according to the strict standards for diagnosis,into,out to collect qualified clinical GLMD patients.Collect their general information,plasma glucose index,blood lipid index and traditional Chinese medical four diagnostic information.We used frequency analysis,the factor analysis and clustering analysis to processing the four diagnostic information datas.We extracted 3 common factors and explore the distribution of syndrome factors,in order to summarized the common TCM syndrome types of GLMD.And on this basis,we combined with the methods of data mining technology means to screening the common diagnostic indicators of GLMD,and establishing the main TCM syndrome diagnose item pool of GLMD.Results1.Results of the literature research:There are 5 common syndromes of GLMD,which account for 75.33%of the proportion of all,and the composition of the other syndromes ratio is 6.49%.The main disease character syndromes are stagnation of the circulation of vital energy,damp,deficiency of yin,hot,deficiency of qi,deficiency of yang,muddy,gloomy and hyperactivity of yang,accounting for 47.1%of all.The main disease location syndromes are liver,spleen,kidney,gallbladder,stomach and pulse,accounting for 84%of all.2.Results of the clinical epidemiological investigation:We collected 503 glycolipid metabolic disease patients TCM four diagnostic informations,and extracted the index which positive rate was more than 10%.We finally extracted 57 variables including observation,symptom of spleen and stomach,symptom of liver,symptom of heart and brain,symptom of kidney,symptom of body,tongue inspection and pulse inspection.There are 7 common factors of GLMD:Phlegm-dampness,insufficiency of the spleen,liver depression,deficiency of kidney,deficiency of yin,blood stasis and hot.We clustered 4 common syndromes of GLMD and their main signs:syndrome of qi stagnation and coagulated phlegm in throat(104 cases),syndrome of intermingling of phlegm and static blood(168 cases),syndrome of liver qi depression and spleen deficiency(124 cases)and syndrome of deficiency of both qi and yin(107 cases).ConclusionThis research summarized the main syndrome distribution of GLMD,the main disease locations and disease characters of GLMD.What is more,we concluded the common diagnostic indicators of GLMD and established the main TCM syndrome diagnose item pool of GLMD.The research process is rigorous and reliable,the results apply to the clinical diagnosis and efficacy evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine for glycolipid metabolic disease,it provides a certain theoretical support to the traditional Chinese medicine dialectical standard.Generally speaking,there is certain clinical applicable value of this research,and the research results can be further promoted and applied.
