The Construction Mode And Strategy Of "Neighborhood Support Unit" Based On Rural Mutual Support In Older People

Due to the population aging and the decline of the working population,the phenomenon of"mutual support in rural older people" gradually carried out by rural local older people in recent years,becoming the effective supplement of the current rural service system for older people,which containing"family--community(service center in small towns)--institution(nursing home)"three parts.In the past ten years,the study of rural residential environment based on mutual support in older people has mostly focused on the research and Architecture design of facilities or nursing homes under the "Mutual Support for Happiness" model.However,in the practice of mutual support and community environment regeneration of foreign researches,mutual support is general regarded as a way of daily life.They consider the residential environment of mutual support as a unit of specific block,building a platform with "flexibility" and "continuity"features under the mutual support relationship.Therefore,it is necessary to judge and deepen the rural mutual support phenomenon in China and the residential environment behind them,then further propose the understanding of the local neighboring human settlement construction mode,namely the "Neighborhood Support Unit",as a framework to guide and encourage the development of phenomenon.The research follows the logic of " Value speculation " Mechanism analysis--Model construction-Construction strategy".From multi-disciplinary perspective,this research judge and deepen understand the value of the mutual support phenomenon in rural older people,and the applicability of the related residential environment with methods of data analysis,field investigation,network measurement analysis and qualitative analysis.Explaining the concept and connotation of 'neighborhood support unit' in local rural area,then constructing and practicing the spatial model with the related theory in social gerontology.Through the value speculation,we can see that the phenomenon of mutual support is not new in the countryside.It used to be part of the village life in the rural areas in the past few hundred years.However,due to the evolution of social development and values,mutual support and its related residential environment have gradually declined and shrunk.However,in the context of the growing problem of rural aging,this phenomenon has re-emerged spontaneously,and has gradually received the attention of the villagers,local governments,and even national policies.Therefore,from the perspective of the rural residential environment builders,the author proposes that the construction of related residential environment of mutual support is timely,necessary and feasible,and should be encouraged and valued.Through the mechanism analysis,the first step is to deeply understand the sample of mutual support phenomenon under the network thinking.Then explore the fuzzy structural relationship between the mutual support organization and its related space carrier,which includes the correlation between the mutual support organization and the overall layout of the space,the correlation between the indicators of mutual support network and the indicators of spatial network,and the impact of some special factors.Concept presentation is put forward with the aim of adapting to the natural characteristics of the current situation and solving its existing problems.Combining with the relevant theories abroad,this paper puts forward the concept of "Neighborhood Support Unit" in Chinese rural area and explains the driving conditions for the establishment of the concept,including three aspects inducing factors,primary internal driving forces and potential resources of extension.Based on the theory of social network and from the perspectives of "relationship","infectious agent "and "actor",this paper puts forward three unit characteristics of "Neighborhood Support Unit" model:operation unit,function unit and space unit.On the basis of this model,it also explores the possible spatial elements and their forms.This paper proposes a relatively complete cognitive framework of mutual support in human residence.Part of the construction strategy is based on adapting to the original social relations and regional conditions of the village.Under the limited human and financial resources,it minimizes unnecessary facilities construction,does not destroy the original spatial structure,and provides a mutually-assisted human settlements unit construction strategy with strong adaptability,including the principles of unit construction,mode construction mechanism,and space construction path.Finally,through empirical research,taking Dongshen Village of Deqing County as the carrier,combining with the local pension status,problems and resources,we practice the mode construction mechanism and space construction strategy under the concept of "Neighborhood Support Unit" Mutual Support Human Residence,with a view to benefiting and inspiring the construction of rural aging human residence.
