Study On Regionalization Of Symbiotic National Spatial Territory:A Case Of Hunan Province

With the rapid development of urbanization and the improvement of infrastructure in China,Territorial space function gradually increased and the relationship between each other were becoming closer.However,it also brings about the plight of resources and environment and space imbalances and other issues,which restricting sustainable development.Therefore,it is urgent to carry out the comprehensive regionalization of Territorial Space,to establish and regulate a reasonable Territorial space development and order.But the related theories and methods are still in the exploratory stage.According to the symbiosistheory,symbiosis unit can realize the co-evolution of symbiosis through the function division and cooperation.Based on symbiosis theory,the concept of Territorial space symbiosis is proposed.Then the zoning method system of Territorial space symbiosis was constructed,including classification and evaluation of the basic unit function,the division of symbiotic units and the analysis of symbiotic change.Finally,taking Hunan Province as a case study area,we performed an empirical study,Which was aim to enrich the theory and method of the comprehensive regionalization of territorial space,and promote the sustainable development of Territorial Space.The main results were as follows:(1)Based on the symbiosis theory,the concept of Territorial space symbiosis were proposed.We considered that the territorial space was symbiotic.Territorial space symbiosis refered to territorial space basic units,symbiotic units and symbiont achieved harmonious development through interaction in the same symbiotic environment.And it achieved the sustainable development of the entire symbiont,including the symbiotic unit.The Territorial space symbiosis includes elements such as symbiosis unit,symbiosis model,symbiotic environment and symbiotic interface,and was the division of symbiosis unit is the foundation of symbiosis.(2)The zoning method of territorial space symbiosis is constructed.Based on the symbiosis theory of‘basic unit-symbiosis unit-symbiosis'.The basic unit function evaluation model was established by using a projection pursuit model.Then the Ward cluster method and GIS technology were used to delimit the symbiosis unit.Finally,the model of symbiotic effect analysis was proposed.(3)The function of the basic unit of territorial space in Hunan Province is divided into five types: agricultural production function,economic development function,social security employment and living service function,leisure tourism function,Ecological conservation function.The function evaluation is carried out by using projection pursuit model.The results showed that during the study period,the ecological conservation function and agricultural production function of the basic units were higher,and the tourism function was relatively low.In addition to ecological functions,the overall function of various types showed upward trend,in which economic development function and social security employment and employment function significantly increased;the spatial distribution of each functions were significantly different.(4)Hunan Province territorial space was divided into 8 types of symbiosis unit.The study showed that Hunan Province Territorial space was divided into 8 types of symbiosis units,such as Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan economic-social-tourism function,Dongting Lake agriculture-social function,Hengyang basin agriculture-economy-social function and so on.Through the comparative analysis,it was proved that the function evaluation and the zoning method based on the theory of Territorial space symbiosis is feasible,which shows that the Territorial space symbiosis method can provide technical support for the Territorial space sustainable use and the compilation of provincial Territorial space planning.
