With the internationalization of higher education,The Chinese government has attached more and more importance to the recruitment of foreign teachers.2010 Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)proposed that colleges and universities should attract more world-class experts and scholars to engage in teaching,research and management work.As a result,the number of foreign teachers increased year by year and foreign teacher management came to be a big problem.This has aroused administrators and scholars' attention,but most scholars mainly focus on such aspects as teaching management,hiring management and life management,little attention paid to foreign teachers' working pressure.Foreign teachers' working pressure can affect their work efficiency.Therefore,it is necessary to study the foreign college teachers' working pressure carefully.This study is to work on foreign college teachers'stress management,put forward reasonable suggestions to intervene foreign college teachers' working pressure,promote the effectiveness of foreign college teachers,work and ultimately achieve the goal to enhance the efficiency of college management.Foreign college teachers' working pressure is a complex and dynamic process,so its management is difficult.Studies show that although the foreign college teachers,overall working pressure is not high,but there are some demographic differences.Foreign college teachers' working pressure is an integrated one that is caused by a number of single pressure source.The pressure sources of foreign college teachers are various,each with different intensity and property.This paper analyzes the source of foreign college teachers' working pressure and finds that most working stress sources are associated with college's internal management.Therefore' college's internal management is a source of,at the same time a great way to deal with,foreign teachers'working pressure.Based on the theoretical studies and empirical findings,this paper puts forward management strategies of foreign college teachers,working pressure from five dimensions:appointment management,teaching management,research management,personnel management,logistics management.The five-dimension management may reduce the stress by removing the negative working pressure sources.For those who are confronted with high working pressure,measures should be taken to control the intensity of the positive working pressure besides removing the negative working stress source;for those who are faced with less working pressure,measures should be taken to lower their positive working pressure.There are some innovations as follows in this study:Firstly,this is the first systematic exploration of foreign college teachers' working pressure management in China.Document analysis shows that most scholars just focus on teaching management,hiring management and life management,little attention paid to the research of foreign college teachers,working pressure.Secondly,the concept of foreign college teachers'working pressure is defined clearly.Although scholars have defined college teachers'working pressure,but there is no clear definition of foreign college teachers' working pressure.Thirdly,the research horizon is fully considered,including both positive and negative sides.The previous studies just focused on the negative effects of job stress.This paper studies foreign college teachers' working pressure source,the impact of job stress,work stress management strategies from positive and negative sides.Fourthly,this paper puts forward category management strategies of foreign college teachers'working pressure.This is the first time to imply category management idea to foreign college teachers' working pressure management.According to the degree of foreign college teachers' working pressure,as well as various factors in the formation of working pressure,this paper puts forward management strategies from five dimensions of college's internal management.Fifthly,this study constructs a management model of foreign college teachers' working pressure,with the hope that it can provide useful reference for college administrators and researchers.Sixthly,in this paper there is the integrated use of questionnaires,interviews and case studies,a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods.Conclusions are drawn as follows:Firstly,foreign college teachers' working pressure overall level is middle-class,but group and individual difference is obvious.Secondly,the foreign college teachers' working pressure source is complex,all kinds of effect from pressure source are different.Thirdly,the foreign college teachers'working pressure reaction has a low level,but individual difference is obvious.Fourthly,foreign college teachers' working pressure is mainly produced in the organization management,we should be improve the quality of college management.
