The Cultivation Of College Students' Positive Social Mentality

Currently,the mentality of Chinese social members is facing a severe situation.For one thing, a variety of new psychological problems such as depression and anxiety disorders have become the popular "the era of the disease". For another,negative social mentality such as impetuosity, violence and apathy is emerging among the members of society, which has already affected the construction and development of China's harmonious society. Therefore,social mentality has gradually become a heated topic and trend in the current research of social science; meanwhile, it is also an important part to carry out social governance for the party and the government.College students, the main body of the future society,do not have an optimistic trend in their social mentality development. Negative social mentality, such as confusion with political beliefs, in firmness of ideal faith, distortion of value orientation, unawareness in social responsibility, weakness in volitional quality and poor sense of unity and cooperation,has influenced some university students and has even occasionally led to suicide and homicide. "The cultivation of positive social mentality of college students" has become a new perspective of ideological and political education of college students, and "how to cultivate the positive social mentality of college students" is increasingly becoming an important research subject in College Ideological and Political Education.Guided by dialectical materialism and historical materialism, and based on the organic unity of theory and practice,this paper focuses on the cultivation of College Students' positive social mentality,and mainly discusses the following content.Firstly, the social mentality, positive social mentality and the positive social mentality of college students are discussed in this paper. It is pointed out that the positive social mentality is a social mentality that serves the current development needs of the state and society in a certain historical period and promotes the free and comprehensive development of the members of society and can play the key and the core role. Also this paper points out that the connotation of self-esteem,self-confidence, rational and positive social mentality as the main contents of College students' positive social mentality, of which college students' self-esteem and self-confidence is the foundation of positive social mentality,the rationality of college students is the guarantee of the positive social psychology, the positive attitude of college students is the destination of cultivation of college students' positive social mentality.Secondly, this research explores the social reality of the positive social mentality of college students. On the one hand, based on the connotation and extension of social mentality in college students featuring self-esteem, self-confidence, rational, calmness and positive uprightness,the author analyzes the status quo of social mentality of"self-esteem,self-confidence,calmness and positive uprightness ",It is pointed out that the main contradictions and problems of the current society,the spread of bad information, the lack of scientific management and the level of humanization and the limitation of the subject of college students are the main reasons leading to the current problems of the positive social mentality of college students.Thirdly, this research discusses positive social mentality cultivation in college students. Pointing out that the cultivation of the positive social mentality of the current college students should follow the principle of diversity and dominance,consciousness and reality, the whole and the individual, and the combination of"sparse" and "guide", and with Spiritual guidance, institutional constraints, aspirations to respond and mentality to clear the way of cultivation, and put forward the classified ways to cultivate the positive social mentality of college students, and point out that we should cultivate the self-esteem and self-confidence social mentality by resolving the main contradictions of the current society, strengthening the orientation of public opinion, strengthening the theory instilling and guiding. Playing the role of the socialist core values of bench marking, through the daily education, service and management of the value of guidance and draining the wrong value to cultivate college students rational and peaceful social mentality.By playing the "China Dream"on the integration of individual dreams and national dreams to cultivate college students' political consciousness and behavior,and enhance the depth and breadth of social practice to cultivate the positive social mentality of college students.
