Research On The Predicament And Development Strategy Of Ethnic Minority Medicine

Ethnic Medicine is the general term for the traditional medicine of ethnic minorities in China.It has made a great contribution to the health and prosperity of the people from all ethnic groups in our country,and is an important part of China’s outstanding traditional culture.At present,the Inheritance and development of ethnic medicine including Kazakh Medicine has become the focus of attention.After nearly 20 years of development,Kazak medicine developed rapidly and made some gratifying achievements.However,due to the combined effect of the defects and the external factors such as impact of modern western medicine,national policy and commodity economy,Kazakh medicine is faced with difficulties,such as the low degree of identity,heritage crisis highlights.It hindered development.What is the dilemma of the inheritance and development of Kazak medicine?What factors affect its inheritance and development?How to grasp the opportunity of Kazak medicine,take advantage of strengths?How to realize the inheritance and development?The existing studies do not give a clear answer,and these problems are the research objectives of this paper.Based on the status of the inheritance and development of Kazakh Medicine in Altay,This paper adopts the theory and knowledge of Ethnic Medicine,ethnology and medical anthropology,and comprehensively used literature research methods and various field investigation methods such as questionnaire survey,interview investigation,participation observation and recording,as well as comparative research methods and statistics.Then,this paper makes a comprehensive field investigation and theoretical analysis on the development history,present situation and development predicament of Kazakh medicine,and puts forward the corresponding solution strategy and implementation way,not only provides a new idea for the inheritance and development of Kazakh medicine,but also provides a typical case for the development of other ethnic minority medicine in China.The main conclusions of this thesis are as follows:1.The local residents have low acceptance of Kazakh medicine,especially the young students.The patient’s acceptance of Kazakh medicine is not high,the adoption of Kazakh medicine is not strong,which bring the difficulties to the inheritance of Kazakh Medicine.2.The obvious aging trend,conservative protection consciousness and fragmentary medical knowledge of the inheritance people make Kazakh Medicinecan’t form the good situation of inheritance,facing the danger of extinction.3.Because of the fragility of the ecosystem in Altay and the indifference of people’s ecological and resource protection,the predatory and blind excavation of medicinal resources has led to the extinction of some rare species and the depletion of drug resources,driven by the economic interests.4.Kazakh Medicine should adhere to the " three-in-one"development strategy of " mining medicine traditional knowledge,striving to enter the medical insurance catalog,seizing the opportunity of the strategy of the belt and road initiative" to expand the central Asian market,in order to open the modern door and internationalize.
