China is the fastest growing economies in the developing countries, the UnitedStates is the strongest economy in developed countries, and the economicdevelopment of the two countries has become a major driver of growth of the worldeconomy. U.S. current account trade deficit for the70%of the total global tradeimbalances and the development of the global economy has had a significant impact.In2004, China’s total foreign trade volume exceeded one trillion yuan mark for thefirst time, the United States surpassed Japan to become China’s second largest tradingpartner. According to the the cohabitation data of the United States in2006, Chinaovertook Mexico to become the second-largest U.S. trading partner after Canada.Currently, the U.S. is China’s second largest trading partner and largest export tradeobjects, but also the second-largest U.S. trading partner and the largest source ofimports and third largest export market. With the rapid development of Sino-USbilateral trade, trade imbalances along with the great concern of the two governments,especially after China’s accession to the WTO, China-US trade imbalance has becomemore and more serious. According to U.S. statistics show that from2001to2008, theproportion of its total trade deficit of the U.S. trade deficit with China increased fromabout20%to30%. In2011, the trade deficit of the United States total over$313,424,000,000. According to Chinese statistics, from2000to the present, China’strade surplus with the United States accounting for more than60%of China’s totaltrade surplus with the proportion of China’s trade surplus with the United States in2011reached201.887billion U.S. dollars. How to properly recognize and adjust theSino-US trade imbalance is the focus of this study. The important historical analysis,theoretical analysis and empirical analysis method, combined with the large amounts of data, and do a more comprehensive study of the Sino-US trade imbalance problem.This paper consists of seven chaptersThe first chapter is the introduction. the first part focuses on the researchbackground and research significance. The second part of this chapter is a review ofthe literature, scholars study on the issue of Sino-US trade imbalance, includingbilateral economic internal imbalance in Sino-US trade imbalance; economic theglobalization factors with Sino-US trade imbalance; China and the United States tradeimbalances of other factors; economic interests of Sino-US trade imbalance betweenthe economic interests of the two countries. The last part of this chapter introduces theresearch ideas, research methods, innovation and inadequacies.Chapter two is for the trade imbalance between the theory and analysis method.Including trade imbalances in the global economy and trade imbalances definition ofprotectionism theory, the theory of free trade and international payments classicaltheory,Chapter three is the Sino-US trade imbalance discrimination importantperformance, this chapter focuses on the current situation of Sino-US trade imbalance,features, and true scale. In the last part of the article describes the Sino-US tradeimbalance with the global economic imbalances contactChapter four is analyzed of the factors in the Sino-US trade imbalance, includingwithin the Sino-US economic imbalance, international direct investment in industrialtransfer, export controls and the RMB exchange rate and other factors. Derivedthrough analysis of various factors, foreign direct investment to China, internaleconomic imbalances between the two countries is a substantial factor in Sino-UStrade imbalance, international capital flows has provided a guarantee for the Sino-UStrade imbalance.Chapter five affects the path of Sino-US trade imbalance, how a correct view ofSino-US trade imbalance in the title to become the focus of this chapter. First,Sino-US trade imbalance of bilateral economic impact and the impact on the worldeconomy. Then analyzed the path of Sino-US trade imbalance, including globaleconomic imbalances affect the path, affect the path of international capital flows and international direct investment path. The last part of this chapter, respectively analyszgovernments, businesses and individuals subject Sino-US trade imbalance interests.Chapter six of the Sino-US trade imbalance continued analysis. Thischapter-based dual-loop mechanism of the Sino-US trade imbalance, by persistentforeign trade deficit of the United States, in foreign direct investment and capitalflows into the U.S. capital markets continuing to analyze, to determine the Sino-UStrade imbalance continued problems.Chapter seven is the countermeasures and suggestions for China’s response to theSino-US trade imbalance. This chapter is divided into three parts: the first part, theanalysis of the implementation of discriminatory trade policies to China really reason;analysis of the cost of the adjustment of the U.S. trade deficit with consideration ofthe second part; Part III proposed adjustment of the Sino-US trade imbalancecountermeasures and suggestions.Conclusions, in the context of the continuous development of economicglobalization, China and the United States in Sino-US trade imbalance in themacro-economic interests, the United States accounted for most of the trade interestsof the bilateral trade. China has received only a small part. Sino-US trade imbalancebetween the sustainability of long-term memory in a lot of uncertainty, anddiscriminatory trade policies of the United States to China is a strong political factor.China should actively adjust the Sino-US trade relations, in order to achieve awin-win goal.
