United States Information Service (US Information Service, referred to USIS) is the U.S.ambassador to the foreign propaganda, intelligence agencies, the activities in China startingin1942, ending in1949. Purpose of this article lies in the analysis of relevant historical data,based on the combination of multi-disciplinary theory USIS institutions, personnel, functions,activities, objectives and other aspects of a comprehensive study. Thesis is divided into fivechapters:The first chapter from the perspective of the historical background to explore the History ofthe United States Information Services Department. The birth of the United StatesInformation Service has its historical reasons, this paper attempts to sort out the history ofU.S. foreign propaganda, from this perspective, discussing it as an institution, from the birthof the Second World War to the Cold War, the course of development.
