Media language is the language used in the field of mass communication. Medialanguage is the most important form of the language exist in the information society.Compared with non-media language, the salient features of the media language is theintegration of a variety of symbols means. Media text spreads out simultaneously in thelanguage symbol level, the sound symbol level and visual symbol level. The MediaLanguage has three dimensions: content structure dimension, a dimension of mediaformats and language attribute dimension. The independent status of media language inthe entire functional language system restricted by the characteristics of the masscommunication. Becoming the stylistics of mass communication, media language addedto the spoken language and written language. Based on the degree of realization of thereporting function and the affecting function, exists the classification within the medialanguage: news,comment, feature and ad., According to the relationship betweensignification and referent of symbol, the media language occupies a correspondingposition in the entire symbol system. Media language possess unique mechanisms ofcreation and interpretation. Collective or individual author influenced the audience bydifferent psychological impact model; dispersed in time and space audience understandsmedia text according to their respective. Contradistinction of audience ’semantic spacewill help measure the effects of the media language.
