Social science is closely related to a country s prosperity, stability anddevelopment. It is an important aspect of a national comprehensive strength that theresearch level of social science. Social science research was taken as an importantview of the social science status, which can reflect a region, a country, even theworld s social science research status and level. As the world s largest retrieval tools,SSCI often be used to analyze the different countries and regions social scienceresearch. It has become an inevitable trend that using the social science literature dataof SSCI analyses the situation of internationalization output and the quality of socialscience research.Since the1990s, many scholars had studied the social scientific literature Statusin China indexed by SSCI from the different perspectives. As a result,a number of features and quality characteristics had not been profoundly revealed, sothat the conclusions can only understanding the distribution status of SSCI literaturesin China from the macro-level, and the suggestions are too macro to lack of effectiveguidance significance.With the deepening of globalization, the accelerating of the internationalizationprocess of social science research in China, the number of social scientific literature inChina indexed by SSCI was increased year-on-year. In order to comprehensively andsystematically analyze the social science literatures in China indexed by SSCI,understand the essential characteristics of the literatures hidden behind on the tens of thousands of literature data, and discover valuable knowledge, it is impossible to bein-depth analysis of massive data through the traditional description of statisticalanalysis methods. This requires a powerful data analysis tools-data miningtechniques to study.In this study, to sort out the basis of the theory and literature, the topic that theBasic situations of Social Science Literatures in China indexed by SSCI was proposed.Then, after the basis concept define, SSCI literatures selection, collection andpre-treatment, the16656SSCI literatures from1991to2010were get. Based on theliteratures in and its attributes, on the basis of statistical analysis, combined withtechnologies of association rules, neural network and regression trees method, thenumber of SSCI literature, the impact factors of SSCI literature published journal andthe cited times of SSCI literature were studied on.In the quantity research of SSCI literature in China, firstly, statistical analysiswas used to research quantity situation our country s SSCI literature change innumber and the statues of the SSCI literature of our country in the world; Followed byintroduction of the international comparative advantage to analyze the quantitychange situation, interdisciplinary structure dynamic change situation and ofinterdisciplinary SSCI literature situation, our country SSCI literature status and thestatus in the world of the SSCI indexed our country s literature; finally using thenumber of association rules has analyzed our country SSCI literature characteristics.The study found that the growth in the number of SSCI literature in China is higherthan the world level. But compared with developed countries, there is a big gap. ourSSCI literature number of disciplinary distribution difference is huge, while it is lackof a strong international competitive advantage disciplines. Our country s documentsnumber exist associated characteristics in the dominant region, mode of cooperationand flow of literature, which shows that our leading social science research is narrowin the scope of cooperation, single in partner, not occupying a dominant position inthe cross-border cooperation and lack of the right to speak which determines the flowof results.In the research of the impact factor of SSCI literature in China, firstly, thefeasibility of the literature evaluation was analyzed and used the relative impactfactors to evaluation the quality of paper; then, based on the relative impact factor, Ianalyzed the overall situation of the SSCI literature influence, the year-on-yearchange situation, the influential situation of our country s SSCI literature of various disciplines and the dynamic changes of the influential situation of the variousdisciplines SSCI literature; finally, I used the neural network to construct the SSCIliterature relative impact factor characteristic model, got the main role of the relativeimpact factor of our country s SSCI literature and detailed analyzed the characteristicsof various factors of our country s SSCI literature. The study found that The averagequality of SSCI literatures in china were higher than the world level, but the quality ofthe literature distribution had appeared right skewed trend; The average quality ofSSCI literatures in China were increasing year by year, and the right skewed trend ofthe quality of the literature distribution had slowed down; The disciplinary differencesof the average quality of SSCI literatures in china were significant, and the quality ofvarious SSCI disciplines in china had different literature distribution; The growth ofaverage quality and the changes of quality distribution of various SSCI disciplines inchina showed Matthew Effect. The study found that the cited timesof the SSCI literature distribution in china had appeared right skewed trend, but Theaverage cited times of SSCI literatures in China were increasing year by year; thedisciplinary differences and development trend of the average cited times of SSCIliteratures in china were significant; through the regression tree model,the cited timesof SSCI literatures in china was affected by Leading region, The time of publication,Supported by the Fund, cooperation-mode and literature flow.By the number of China’s SSCI literature published journal impact factorresearch, and cites the study, master social science research in China the number ofoutputs status and level of influence internationalization, and the internationalizationof China’s social science research results distribution characteristics and influence ofthe number of distribution characteristics.
