A Historical Retrospection And A Reflection Of Constructing A Marxist Study-Oriented By The Chinese Communist Party

Based on the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, especially the angle of view of the party’s construction theory, this paper reviews the history of Marxist learning party construction of the Communist Party of China, and thinks and sums up the party’s construction in different historical periods, especially characteristics and laws of the construction of Marxist learning party, in order to comprehensively promote the new great project of the party’s construction and help to improve the party’s construction scientific level.The paper with six chapters is organized into three parts. Chapter 1 is the introduction. Chapter 2 to Chapter 5 is the main body, dealing with the developing thought about Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao. The last part is the conclusion, which interprets the construction of learning party, casting Chinese Communists’spiritual home, mainly with the spirit of Xi Jinping series of speech as the core.Chapter 1 is the introduction. The backgrounds and significances, the research status and evaluations, the relevant basic theories, research methods and ideas and main innovation points of this paper are mainly introduced. Those are the elementary premise to understand and describe this topic.In chapter 2, the formation, enrichment and development of the primary idea about the construction of the Party proposed by Mao Zedong. This is the essential foundation, principles and methods of the construction of Marxist learning party. By reviewing the Party’s history, Mao Zedong established the thought of party construction, that is, "the three magic weapons", namely, the Party’s construction is closely related to the Party’s ideological and political line, and then to combine the universal truth of Marxism with Chinese social reality, to educate and to arm the whole Party with the Chinese Marxism theory keeping pace with the times, which is the root of the Party’s construction. Thus, it lays fundamental evidence of the construction of Marxist learning party in new period. Also, it provides basic principles and points out general direction.Chapter 3 is about the establishment of Deng Xiaoping’s thought concerning the Marxist learning party construction. In the new period of reform and opening-up, Deng Xiaoping restored and established the ideological line of seeking truth from facts of the Party, created a theory of Chinese special socialism, and led the whole Party to preliminarily understand and answer "what is socialism and how to build socialism". which is a fundamental historical subject our party is facing in the new period. Deng Xiaoping set up a view of learning under the guidance of the Marxist, which is on the basis of inhering Mao Zedong’s party building thought, thus he established Marxist learning party construction thought preliminarily in the new period, which is an important part of the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Chapter 4 is about the enrichment to the Marxist learning party construction thought by Jiang Zemin. Under the new historical condition, Jiang Zemin presented the important thought of "Three Represents" to answer the question that "what kind of Party should be built, and how to build the Party". Keeping pace with the times, Jiang Zemin put forward new ideas of strengthening the Party’s own study, deepening of the construction of Marxist learning party in the new period, thus enriched ideas of the construction of Marxist learning party in the new period and also presented new characteristics under the new historical conditions.Chapter 5 is about the maturity of Hu Jintao and Marxist learning party construction thought. In the new stage of the century, Hu Jintao made new scientific answers to the major issues under the new situations, such as "what kind of development we should realize and how to develop it". As an important part of Scientific Outlook on Development, the party construction thought of Hu Jintao, especially the construction of Marxist learning party construction thought, obtained substantial development in comprehensively promoting the new great project of party building. The constructive thought of Marxist learning party of the Communist Party of China was mature during this historical period.The last part is the epilogue. In the start of new history, the important speech of the General Secretary Xi Jinping profoundly answered the major theoretical and practical issues of the party and the country’s development. The General Secretary Xi Jinping put the learning, service-oriented and innovative Marxist ruling party that building a learning party is a precondition and foundation as the new great project of Party building under the new situation and new goals, in order to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese dream to unite the whole party consensus, and cast the spiritual home of the Chinese Communists.
