Theory And Clinical Study Of The Zhigancao Decoction In Treatment Of Brady Arrhythmia For The Aged

Objective:To study and observe the clinical effect of zhigancao decoction on Brady Arrhythmia for the aged and explore its mechanism of effect Method:60 aged patients of Brady Arrhythmia of the asthenia of qi and blood were divided randomly into two groups.30 cases with Zhigancao decoction were taken as treatment group, the other 30 cases treated with Amiodarone were taken as control group. The changes of clinical symptoms and index in all the patients were observed before and after treatment.Results: After four weeks’ treatment, in the treatment group the total effective rate of Traditional Chinese Medicine symptoms(80.00%) were significantly better than those of the control group. Both groups heart rate can be enhanced, but the two groups have no significant difference. The treatment group was superior or similar to that of control group in heart functions, the heart shoots a fraction on blood index. Conclusion:Zhigancao decoction may improve patients’ clinical symptom obviously and has the function of the fractional blood effect increasing the heart function, improving heart’s streaming into at the same time.This study enriches the theory of TCM treating Brady Arrhythmia for the aged and it is indicated that Zhigancao decoction has obvious effect and less side effect.
